Food was great but the service was so so. Server seemed annoyed the whole time, even though everyone was polite and nice. Not sure what the issue was but with a higher end restaurant and prices that are far from cheap, you’d think he would have been nicer or at least welcoming.

We fully enjoyed, amazing food- superb pasta, great service, & wonderful atmosphere! It was almost like a mix of my Grandma’s living room with an elevated sophistication of a fancy restaurant. The red sauce which I did not get a photo of is to die for!!! ❤️

Been coming here since opening. Always good food & wine. Love the rustic decor, feels like a movie scene with De Niro in Casino. The grilled branzino is superb. Charred octopus fresh with flavorful red sauce. Let’s not forget the linguine with white clam sauce, excellent. Paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Seafood night divine. 👍👍

The Borgata has many restaurants choices when you stay there and sometimes it's downright hard to choose. From Japanese food, fine steaks, gourmet burgers, or Italian food, you really can't go wrong in any of the places. This review is for Angeline's, one of our favorites. We eat here everytime we stay at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. The atmosphere is great, the service is on point, and the food is ALWAYS impeccable. Reservations are recommended of course but usually during the week, they can usually fit you in with little wait if any. When we arrived, there are many different areas to sit. Cozy little corner booths where you can sit close, bar tops to easier access, or larger tables for groups. The decor is beautiful and elegant in there but not overly stuff or too formal. You don't have to wear a coat and tie if you don't want to, I've seen others wear shorts and polos just fine. The servers are always very attentive and never disappoint. Ask about house specials, sometimes they have them. We aren't big drinkers but from what I noticed, the drinks others were served look good. We are foodies and we really appreciate the fine recipes they serve there. Their lasagna is better than any I have ever had, anywhere in the US so far, seriously. We get that every time and I added a picture this time. Also, we tried the lobster fritta this go around, but it must have been frozen too long, as it was a bit chewy and I didn't care for it at all. Otherwise, the meal was splendid and we will definitely go back, as always.

This was our first visit to Angeline although we have heard about it for several months before our visit. Aside from having to wait to be seated for our reserved table, everything else was spot on. The wait staff was exceptional and the food was above the expectations we had for a casino restaurant. We, a party of four, are Italian Americans and tend to be overly critical of any Italian food that our mothers didn’t prepare. The meals here were just terrific and plentiful. Good menu with something for everyone and an extensive wine list albeit they only had one rose. Lasagna was some of the best particularly if you like a lot of meat in the dish. Overall it was a fine dining experience. Probably not for kids snd the prices were a little out of line but the overall experience was very good. We give it four and one half clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We had reservations for a Saturday night for a party of four. I recommend making a reservation because this restaurant gets crowded. The food menu is simple and right to the point. Their drink menu is awesome. I was impressed with their scotch and whiskey selection. We ordered a fifteen year old(Dalwhinnie) glass of scotch and it was very good. For appetizers we ordered the baked clams, spicy calamari, and the cold antipasto salad. For the main courses we ordered the filet mignon ( just melted in my mouth lol)eggplant parmigiana, and the special which was a halibut baked in bread crumbs with tomato’s and sauce. Everything was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, the food had great flavor. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing, and very clean and well maintained. Our server was very friendly and courteous. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to go back.

The food, atmosphere, and service was excellent! This was my first time here. You can tell the pasta is homemade, which makes a world of difference in flavor. The Sunday meatsauce was made with shredded, mouthwatering beef, instead of your normal ground beef. Not expensive at all for upscale dining. Would highly recommend!

UPDATED: The feedback below is from 4 years ago when Angeline had just opened. We finally made it back tonight for a birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic. The service, the food, the seating….everything. I can’t say enough good things. I even tried the meatballs again and they were terrific. Complex flavors, great texture, perfect size. Also tried the polenta. It was to die for!! One of the best I have ever had. The tortellini with sweet corn was very unusual and relatively light. Many great desserts but please try the pistachio ice cream. I could have eaten a gallon of that!! Fairly disappointed in this restaurant. Menu is very traditional Italian cuisine. I was expecting some interesting takes on old standards and instead was served old standards done reasonably well but at exorbitant prices. Other reviews raved about Momma's meatballs and for $27 for four medium sized balls, I would expect them to be among the best I have had. Instead I found them to be fairly pedestrian. Service was good. Decor was fine but nothing memorable. I have been waiting a long time to eat Michael Symon food since I have always considered him the best Iron Chef. This does not represent him well.

Fresh Burrata and tomatoes was delicious, as were the cocktails and dessert. Special for the night was a cheese ravioli with cherry tomatoes super good, would pass on the eggplant parmesan though.

This is one of the best restaurants in Atlantic City. For appetizer we had the Baked Clams and the Eggplant Caponata. The Baked Clams were probably the best I've ever had. The inclusion of sausage really made them stand out. The Eggplant Caponata was equally delicious and reminded me of an Eggplant Caponata that I had in Sicily. I particularly liked the pine nuts. For Dinner we tried the Pork Chop, Chicken Parmigiana, and Lasagna, and we all loved our dishes. The Pork Chop was probably our favorite. The sausage and peppers, along with the fennel, was a combination that worked extremely well. The Lasagna was also very good. You could tell the pasta was fresh and the flavors were great. The Chicken Parmigiana was very good and the chicken was well seasoned, however we all felt the portion was a bit excessive as you got two massive cutlets. We felt it would have been better to get one cutlet and some pasta instead. For dessert we had Tiramisu and Pana Cotta. The Tiramisu was delicious, but what really stood out was the Pana Cotta, which was creamy and paired with a tart berry coulis that worked very well. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal as well. The only criticism I would have would be with the seating, as not all tables are individual and where they had us felt a bit like a cafeteria. We would have much preferred the privacy that a separate table provides... But we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan on coming back!

Mostly Italian inspired restaurant with freshly made pasta. It falls into the “upscale casual” to “fine dining” categories. Appetizers were above average although uninspired. I liked the shrimp frittis personally because of the freshness of the shrimp and tempura fried batter over them. We had three pasta dishes which I thought was above average to excellent. The spaghetti with crab meat, the tortolloni, and the Mom’s lasagna were all worth ordering again. For desert we had the chocolate brownie with hazelnuts and pistachio gelato which was worthwhile. The bread offered to the table was okay with the butter but went well with the olive oil at the table. Service was good and attentive. The wait staff for our table was always friendly and asking us if we needed anything. Water was always topped off without us asking. Overall I enjoyed my experience here. I would give it a 4-4.5 out of 5.
