My wife who must eat only gluten free meals enjoyed our dinner. I really enjoyed my dinner and desert. Our waitress, Adeline was very attentive to my wife's gluten free needs, as Adiline is also gluten free. Loved it!
Our organization "Gold Country Amputee Support Group" meets here every other Thursday night. The food is always great, the service is first rate, and the menu is full of delicious meals. I highly recommend this business.
My kids and I always enjoy the country fried steak and eggs. Excellent brunch spot. Always busy but wait wasn't long (15 min). Friendly, courteous, and timely service. Highly recommend!
Black bear is the finer diner! The taco salad, and the pot roast are the best! Even though the pot roast sandwich is not on the menu anymore, they make it for me. Love it!!
Friendly, efficient service. Delicious comfort foods. We had the biscuit and gravy with sausage. It was very good with freshly baked biscuit, which was huge. Because of the size of the biscuit, we both agreed it needed more gravy than given. Outside of that easily remedied thing, we enjoyed our breakfast and servers very much.
Loved our experience here and all the bear memorabilia! Such a cutesy diner and the staff give it a warm diner feel. They were so friendly and prices were reasonable. We also had lovely bear company outside our window seat so cute 🥰.

A wonderful end to a wonderful day on the river for these out of towners. Our host, Nestor, was charming and attentive. Our server, Kaia, was timely, informative, accommodating and humorous! Excellent service! The food, as always, was incredible! From back of house to front of house it was a great experience! Thank you!

Our waiter was very friendly, with great customer service. He treated my granddaughter amazingly and was helpful. The food is amazing no matter what you order. The mashed potatoes have small chunks of potato, just the way I love it, homemade!!!! Oh, and the BEST chicken fried steak!!!
Absolutely delightful staff, great service, and the food was delicious. My brother loves getting a big bowl of chili and onion rings chased down with a chocolate milk shake under a mountain of whipped cream! I loved the tri tip dip paired with onion rings! My niece had a huge salad! Everything was great.
Breakfast was good and I could find no fault with it. Everything was cooked properly and tasted good. It seems to be a rather popular spot for locals. The thing that stood out at this particular Black Bear Diner was the service. Our server was always there to top up our coffee and inquire about our needs. I very much enjoyed the experience.
The food was SO good, as was the service. My friend and I went in around 1:30 on a Wednesday. There was plenty of seating. Everything was very clean. Our portions were so huge, we both had a box full of leftovers to take home after.
I've only been here a couple of times but they're so nice and accommodating. I ordered the Avocado toast breakfast but asked for cucumber instead of toast. They were very accommodating. My husband loved his vegetarian omelette too.
On our way through the area and got the chicken ranch bacon wrap and some sweet potato fries.
The wrap is wonderful and seeing the fries went from what I thought was home style to crinkle cut fries is a welcome change.
This location is wonderful on service and the food delicious overall for the black bear locations.
