This a a delicious restaurant. Everything I have had here is 5 star and everyone who has been here with me really loves everything they have had as well . Highly recommend! They have great servers as well. They all are very nice. Well done Max's Restaurant!

Looking for a Happy Hour spot or a restaurant to enjoy a delicious salad? Max's Restaurant and Bar boast of having "everything you've always wanted to eat". They have a high-quality menu with fresh ingredients. The Cobb salad was generously portioned and prepared to perfection. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 3 to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 pm. The beer and wine selection is local and they have a full service bar. I would recommend the restaurant have live music on the patio. It would being in customers and they would stay longer. This would be a great Happy Hour date spot. This was a great reasonably priced place which was centrally located for 9 family members getting together for a Sunday holiday lunch.
Several tables were put together, not too close to many other people – the various
angles in the ceiling and adequate soft surfaces provided very good acoustics (allowing people to hear all conversations) – okay maybe there was one 93 year-old who said “What?” a lot.
We arrived at noon and were given the choice of some breakfast/brunch items and a
complete menu of normal meals. Our group mostly went for sandwiches, or half sandwiches and soup or salad. Nobody had a problem finding something of interest, but I don’t think we are too picky of a group.
My Veggie Burger was very good and really quite spicy. I heard a couple of comments about things being a bit too salty, but I think that is somewhat the nature of the beast. Everyone said they were satisfied with their meal.
The service was very good. There is a lot of accessible parking.

I was there at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and I was seated right away.
However it took about 10 minutes for a server to come over and present us with menus. I did ask for water immediately.
After that the bartender came over and asked if we were ready to order yet. We ordered the calamari which I recommend it was very good but it took it over 20 minutes to come out. The restaurant only had a handful of people in it.
My friend had asked for Arnold Palmer and after waiting 20 minutes for it to come we asked about it and finally the bartender came over and said oh I'm so sorry, We are out of lemonade. OK so he had tea.
We ordered our regular food, And again it still took another 25 minutes to come out! Way too long for a lunch. Considering the restaurant was not busy at all and some of the servers were over folding napkins and silverware to set on tables and just trying to busy themselves at a slow time I found it very disappointing because we should have been in-and-out in an hour instead it took over an hour and a 1/2.
The food was very good. Restrooms are clean.
Subpar food. Mediocre service. We were a group of 6 and I swear it annoyed the server we were coming to eat. We were very respectful and were celebrating 2 birthdays. I'm a server myself so I tend to give a break where a break is due... however from bland boring food. To a server who was annoyed we were eating. Would not recommend again. Just go to innout and save yourself the time.
Food was great and service was too, once they realized I was there. Super busy when I went which was apparently unexpected. During my long wait at the table, I saw plenty of items needing some tlc.
The condiment basket had several bottles with grime and caps that for sure needed cleaning. The paper menu and drink list had obviously been around a while, had pen marks and spills on them. The window sills had full collections of dust and dead flies. All of that made me question my life choices, but I was also too invested time-wise to turn back.
Attention at Max’s is definitely paid to food. Should also be paid to cleanliness.
We ordered to go. Had a fabulous Ruben sandwich split between two boxes as we were driving separately. Tons of fries, great sandwiches!
I have been going there for many years to meet friends for dinner . The food and service is always wonderful.
As always, Max's never disappoints! Server was gracious and knowledgeable! Service was fast and excellent. Atmosphere is top notch and unlike many restaurants, the lighting was just right! And of course the food was amazing! I had a grilled salmon with lemon vinaigrette (I would definitely recommend).
Place was half empty where I was seated. There was a group of ladies in the main room, hence the service was slow to the rest of us. Had a Cobb Salad. It was excellent.
