This place is awesome!! Ordered the seafood molcajete this time and a crispy chicken taco. The seafood included was: clams, mussels, crab legs, fish, shrimp, scallops and calamari and was an awesome value for the price!! Definitely enough for 2 people to share. I ordered the steak molcajete last time, it was pretty tasty too. This place is a must try and the most authentic restaurant I’ve found in the area (I’m from SF so I would say it is definitely an excellent quality taqueria, we have a bunch here at home, not so much once you start driving East past Sacramento)

First visit and VERY impressed with flavors and service.... Chille Relleno, wet burrito and Pozole were fantastic and we have lots to take home....

Authentic full flavor south of the border food. Goat meat tacos with a side of fresh chopped cilantro, onions, and consume dipping sauce. Free chips and salsa bar with a dozen fun and fresh sauces to experiment with. Margaritas are strong and garnished with homemade tajin and cucumber, best marg I've had in a while. Breakfast menu served all day everyday! The establishment is clean and simple. The service and employees are happy, friendly and informative. I would have no problems going here once a week with the size of their extensive authentic Mexican food menu.
Excellent authentic Mexican restaurant, everything my family and I ordered was delicious! They had excellent customer service as well and a welcoming atmosphere , highly recommended.
Stopped by on our way back home from Reno. I am very picky with authentic Mexican food as I am Mexican myself so food must be delicious! This place is a hidden gem. Did not disappoint, from the food, the michelada and the service. Everything was perfect! Will definitely be back. Thank you for your great service.
California burrito and Veggie burritos were great! Service was quick and very friendly. Would definitely come back the next time I pass through Auburn
Awesome place to get authentic goat Birria Tacos. Salsa was great too. Food came fast and hot, service was great too. The restaurant loby/eating area was clean and relaxing
Ordered the quesobirria (authentic, goat!), carnitas wet super burrito, and a Carne asada taco. All were delicious. Very flavorful, seemed authentic. Staff was friendly and quick. HUGE menu, lots of options I'd like to go back and try other things, specifically the seafood
I ordered a chicken taco salad. It was really nice and had lots of chicken but wished it had more lettuce and tomatoes because the chicken and salad dressing sort of overwhelmed the veggies. The chicken was really good though. Prices were decent. The staff are helpful and nice.
First time here. This was a great burrito. They asked "?Grande¿ I casually said yes. I think this weighed 2 lbs....? Barely finished it... Enjoy! I will visit them again next time I pass by Auburn.
Auburn has a few good Mexican restaurants but in my opinion this one is the best. The regular burrito with carne is my go to. Good chips. Love the salsa. Reasonable prices.
I am so glad the homemade horchata has been brought back. Horchata is just perfect to go with spicy food. We have been patrons of La Herradura for years and go often. The food is delicious, consistent, the service is fast and the restaurant immaculate.
And the prices are fair.
