Friendly waitresses. Amazing juicy burger
Food is absolutely amazing, you get huge plates for a low price. The service is wonderful, which is the owner as well. It's a family owned business and they really take to their customers. I have eaten here plenty of times and have never had a bad experience. The happy hour is really good to, they have beer, cocktails a d appraisers on happy hour as well. I highly rercommend this place, it's off of I-80, a perfect drop in on your way up or down the Mountain. Enjoy!

Good food, good prices.
3 times in the past year I've had the same waitress who absolutely refuses to even ask "is everything OK" after serving. Really ignores you.
Otherwise, they are a step up from the Black Bear across the street.
Today (8/24/14) they handled the freaks returning from Burning Man with aplomb.
Best steak and eggs ever for the price. We have always loved the value until one night we got the blond older waitress who ignored me and talked only to my husband. She had a thing for him. I always order for him because he asks me what to get. When I order for him I get the best of both worlds. So she would ask a question to him and I would answer. After much embarrassment I stopped trying to talk for him. She got the message as I stop looking at her. We will not go back at night unless we say we want a different server.
We had the sweetest server ever here! I can't remember her name but she was the younger one. She made dining here a delight. The prices are reasonable as well and the food was delicious. I had the Pesto Chicken Sourdough sandwich. Yumm!
The food is good. The server was slow as molases (only 3 other tables were seated). They manager aparently did not know how to split the bill??? He said only 1 bill per table?? We asked how much was the coffee, he said he didn't know. How much was the plates, again he didn't know. Won't go there again.
Family run. Nice booths. Good menu. Food and service was great. Meals came quickly, were hot and tasted great. We were not disappointed and went home with left overs.
The staff was very friendly, food was served to everyone at the same time that is a huge plus especially w/ having kids in our group of 6 I know the group enjoyed the food they chose I had the crab cake eggs benedict absolutely tasty I would highly recommend this restaurant
When I'm in Auburn, CA, I always go here. The homemade soups are always good. I usually get the sirloin steak with mushrooms on the senior menu. So yummy !!
Wonderful food and very resonable. Terrific service. We will be going there again.
Everything from the food,to the service,to the atmosphere was excellent. Our server, Laura was very personable and attentive. Fantastic experience, will definetly be back!
