Original Mels Diner - Auburn - Photo album

I love checking out the wall decor. This visit is full of Halloween decorations. The staff is consistently friendly. The restrooms are always clean. I order the corned beef hash almost every time, because it is that good. It can be hard to find a place that makes their own in-house. The whole meal i
Food just like all the other Mel’s I’ve been to. Adequate portions, hot off the grill, and pretty good. Plus 1⭐️for being DOG FRIENDLY. Surrounding Mel’s today were a sea of vintage cars and trucks attending the 2023 American Graffiti Car Show. Mel’s is a sponsor of this well attended annual event.
This is still a real American diner. We came for weekday lunch and liked the friendly and authentic service and plenty food options on the menu. We loved the old music box on the table, not a cheap deco but the real thing! Prices are fair. Highly recommend the chocolate milkshake!
I was here after church meeting with long term friends who I hadn't seen for years. We caught up while we ate. The food was great and the service excellent. We all ordered different meals and some were special orders. The food came as ordered. The atmosphere is 50s rock and roll. A lot of fun. I rea
Good food and friendly service. It’s enjoyable to see all the 50’s shows that are on display.
Original Mel’s Diner holds a special place in our hearts as the backdrop to a significant moment in our lives. My wife, in labor and about to head to the hospital, chose Mel’s for her last meal before the big event. The atmosphere was warm and comforting, setting the perfect tone for this momentous
Food was pretty good but a little lackluster. Waiting staff was very nice and quick to respond to our requests. Always love the vibe in Mel's.
We stopped here for the first time and were not disappointed! The service was just wonderful (very warm and friendly), and the food was great! My son and I got cheeseburgers, my husband had biscuits and gravy with eggs, and my daughter had the chorizo and eggs. Everything was awesome, but that chori
I stopped in 20 minutes before closing, Grace, who was my Hostess sat me at a table, but my waitress must have been on a break! I sat for close to 10 minutes before I looked around again, Grace noticed that nobody had come over to take my drink order! She asked me if I was helped yet, I replied no,
We stopped for breakfast and it was okay. Nothing too special. Just your typical diner. You won't be disappointed eating here. Boyfriend said he really enjoyed his omelette.
Great service... had fish and chips...yummy. nice 60s-70s music gave great atmosphere nice background volume but loud enough to listen to. Had a great meal.
Nostalgic throwback vibe. Good place for late dinner. They’re open ‘til 11pm. Wait staff are warm and accommodating.
Blue cheese and Frank's sauce burger with really good fries. Wow burger high in taste and flavor. Thanks to the Cheff and our Waitress. 🤗🍬🇺🇸
Mel's is the typical Diner with the ambiance to match. The food was good, no complaints, just seemed like there wasn't an original dish that sounded appetizing toe at the moment. I've eaten there before, and I'll eat there again. 4 🌟 because there just isn't that extra that makes that 5th star for m
Great service and friendly staff. Such a cool throw back place to dine in. The milkshakes look delicious!!
