Acre is always a good idea. Lunch... dinner.. just apps. Always. Good. Service is amazing and food is always above expectations. And their cocktails and draft list are fantastic! All around just a good idea.

Probably the best restaurant in Auburn. Food is excellent, service was great, and the cocktail/wine list is superb. Just be careful on the wine prices because they 2-3x retail prices and most of them are a bit early to drink. Our table ordered the tomato pie, beef tartare, and guacamole to start. The tomato pie was wonderful, easily the best of the three appetizers with the tartare coming in second and the guac was ok, definitely wouldn't recommend it with all the other options. Our entrees were the duck and salmon. Duck breast was cooked perfectly, more tender than a nice filet and the sweet sauce paired well with it. The salmon was excellent, cooked medium and flaky. Carrot cake rounded up our night which was also great. Three people expect to spend around $200 with a few drinks.

Home of the Alabama Iron Chef! Acre is truly an experience. The aesthetics are comfortable yet elegant, they enhance the culinary adventure and set the scene for the theme of the cuisine. The service was tremendous, shout-out to Tanner! My wife and I comfortably split the Butcher's Board which was delicious. It consisted of locally sourced meats along with veggies and crackers produced in house. She had the duck entree, which is hard to find done well around here, and I had the filet. They were both prepared perfectly. 5/5 will be back.

The dining room is very interesting. Really enjoyed the chicken fried bacon and the ribeye. I thought the wine list was very good and had a few really good values.

Great place. Great ambiance. Extremely clean. Great presentation. Price was on point. Speed was good. Wait staff was good. Everything was great. My only letdown was the quantity of food. I wished there had been more of my main dish, salmon. I had peanut butter pie for dessert to get full and was really surprised to see my dessert was larger than my dinner. It was great too but I'm probably going to suffer later. :)

The restaurant looks inviting and reminds of a grand country inn. The waitresses were so charming, and the food was very good: the tomato soup was excellent, just perfect. Smoked salmon dip with egg dressing was good, and so were the pork belly and the duck breast with goat cheese risotto - though both dishes were a little too sweet for our tastes.

The food was really good. Two had steaks and two had snapper, no apps and 3 drinks was $209. Good food but really special occasion place for us. A glass of wine recommended by the server as the most popular turned out to be $16 a glass. The lights were really bright in our dining room and would be nicer dimmed a little. The steaks were as good as you can get in town and the servers were all very nice. I think we will try lunch sometime.

My favourite Burger is a plain Jane with their pimento cheese on it. They've got a grilled cheese and tomato bisque which is really good also.
