Where to start? Great ambiance and service was great. We made a reservation, and although 2 of us, we are glad we did! Food was 10/10! Come hungry. I’m so glad I didn’t eat much today, because I was able to enjoy appetizers, entrees and dessert! Honestly, haven’t found a place quite as good but didn’t need a suit and tie!
Went here with a friend last month and we split the fried calamari, 1/2 dozen broiled oysters (both of our favorites!), and an oyster sampler (6 kinds, 2 of each, comes with the little paper explaining the flavor profile, where it's from, and the saltiness). It was a great experience and the drinks were amazing as well. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was very attentive, sociable, and helpful when it was clear we knew nothing about oysters haha
A true hidden gem in Augusta Georgia. Fresh oysters, farm-to-table food crafted with care. I had the beet salad (incredible) and 1/2 dozen oysters. If you get a chance, go for happy hour!
Came here for a date night on our first night out since having a newborn. It's clean, has amiable waitstaff, and quick service. Cocktails were pretty good, and came quickly. This was my first time eating raw oysters, but the waitstaff was friendly and helpful. For entrees, we ordered the pork and the steak. I was a bit disappointed in the steak as its flavor was overwhelmingly smoky, but I suppose that's on me for ordering a steak at a seafood place. Porkchop was solid. Dessert special was a chocolate bar with banana ice cream which was very good. Overall for 3 drinks, appetizer, 2 entrees, and dessert it was ~$150 before tip which is fair.
(4.5)...
Overall good experience. Service was excellent and good food.
Hard to put into words the shrimp and grits I had. In general the dish had good taste/flavor. I just wish it had a little gravy on it to take it to the next level. That being said, the quality of the individual items (shrimp, sausage, etc) was excellent.
I also had the chocolate croissant bread pudding... which was just okay.
I'm rating this higher than a four based off of what the others in my party had... Lol. Everything they had looked awesome! If you love oysters this is your place! The folks in my dinner party loved what they had.
Outstanding. Ariel gave us wonderful service, the food from start to finish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, cozy atmosphere. We had an amazing date night, thank you and compliments to Chef Todd Schaffer.
- we had oysters Rockefeller, beet salad, ceased salad, chef special New York strip, scallops with risotto, and for dessert the creme brûlée and blueberry lemon ice cream cake (I don’t remember what it was called)
