We got there at 11:00 a.m. just in time to see the Health Inspectors leaving. The Happy Garden was given a 99 on their Health inspection.
We had the Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Shrimp fried rice with extra Almond Sauce it was delicious, we didn't get our Fortune Cookie's

Great food and fast service! Very reasonably priced menu! Extremely generous "to go" portions, enough for lunch the following day. I really like that. Most Chinese restaurants serve very small portions to go and when that happens I stop ordering carryout from them. I highly recommend China Garden and I promise you won't be disappointed. Pay no attention to the 1 star reviews, they aren't true, especially the one mentioning pigs feet being served. Also people who complain about a 3-4 percent surcharge on reward cards shouldn't be eating out to start with because they can't afford it. This restaurant is absolutely top shelf, so give them a try today!
We come here from time to time for dinner. They make excellent and flavorful Chinese food. The prices are very reasonable, and the small size is an excellent and filling amount of food for one person. We've had several things here, and they have the typical Chinese faire you come to expect from places like there but they also have other things like Pad Thai and Singapore noodles that you don't normally find at Chinese restaurants. The food is always good, but best eaten when fresh and the restaurant itself is kept very clean. There aren't usually too many people in the place since most folks order take out, so if you're going to eat in you'll find that you'll typically be able to get your food quickly.
I love this place already!!! I think they know me now. They kinda know what I will order but I switch it up since they are fairly new. I like to try out different dishes and see if I like them!!! The guy and girl that works the front counter go beyond the call of duty. While dining here today they brought everything to me, even refills and to go bags, which I always ask for. I'm kind of a creature of habit when it comes to food and I think they have picked that up already. I love being waited on hand and foot!!! Any place that does this gets 5 stars easily!!!!
Been here a couple times and it is usually very good. Last time I went we waited over thirty minutes for our food... Which is not typical.
Best chinese takeout in augusta. Highly suggest to try their boneless spare rib and lemon pepper chicken.
