Great food and good service as always, but it’s a shame they’re following suit of everyone else where they raise/keep the same prices and give you less for your money…it was filling and satisfying however. I’ve always found it a pain to pick up your food and your drink at two different places. During this visit, they didn’t use/I had no vibrating buzzer to alert me when my food was ready. They always need to yell to people to tell them their drink is ready. There’s gotta be a better way of doing it.
They always meet or exceed my expectations at the Augusta ME Panera. I always have a smiling face greet me and light appropriate conversation from the staff. Although I rarely review chains, this one makes my day 4/5 days a week. I especially love the coffee subscription which is free till January! Love free stuff? Get the Panera membership.
Been coming here for 15 years. Hasn't lost its touch at all. If anything it's better. Excellent staff, they put care into the food. Never left waiting for help if I need anything. Always clean. If you are considering going, and reading reviews to make a choice my suggestion is; yes, on Panera everytime! Yes this one is better than others in Maine.
I ordered a steak sandwich, took a bite and went... Oh no. There's horseradish on here. I'm allergic. I went to the cashier to make sure abs they said there was, asked if there was a problem. I said no, I'm just allergic and took a bite, no big deal. Get a couple hives but takes more than that to be a major issue. Went back to my table, and they came out, offered to make a new sandwich and brought it to the table without any kind of attitude and without me even expecting, much less asking. Awesome service.
Great tasting food. Wish you had a drive through.
My housemate brought me to Panera for lunch today. Ok, to start with, the bread is really good. Way better than I was expecting. Secondly, the sandwich was generously portioned and absolutely delicious. Oh man have I been missing out!
