The food was outstanding! Definitely order the garlic bread. I got the truffle beef shoulder pasta and my girlfriend got the spicy sausage rigatoni. We finished it off with the espresso affogato. Everything was next level cooking. The only complaint is that our waiter wasn’t very friendly. He didn’t even mention his name and was very short with us when taking our order. The first thing he asked was if we’d like bread brought to the table (which made it sound like it was free) only for us to find on the bill that it was $8. It was delicious and I would’ve bought it anyways but I don’t like to be tricked.

My husband and I celebrated our ten year anniversary here and Jacob was our server. He was amazing! Kind, professional and made the night special for us. He provided some recommendations to guide our food choices as well which was great. The whole experience was awesome and we can’t wait to visit again!

A must visit if you are in Austin. This restaurant never fails. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the food. House made pasta (they an in house gluten free alternative), lots of flavors, lots of butter! They have smaller portions for some of the plates, which allows you to get more variety to try. Bread is a must. It is impossible to get a reservation last minute, plan your visit far in advanced. There is a parking lot right across the street for those that drive.

Red Ash was one of the reasons I wanted to visit Austin, and have been looking forward to this for some time. It absolutely didn't disappoint. The staff was amazing, the Tiramisu was the best I've ever had. However the Roasted bone marrow was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I will come back every time I visit Austin.

Waited 2 month for reservations. Red Ash is a place you have to try. Friendly staff, very comfortable setting. Second time going back, first time order the porterhouse this time needed something light so went with the Halibut which was delicious, it was abit dry but that can be fish sometimes, it did have a little kick with the chili which I loved. I also got the Agnolotti which was good, the truffle slices was the perfect topping, the braise beef was so soft and tenders. The spaghetti is a must try. The home made sauce was soooooo delicious along with the home made pasta, it was perfect. And Ofcourse the Buratta is a must have, hands downs it was perfect. The bone marrow was just ok, abit upsetting our bone barely had any marrow on it so felt that was a waste to order. Overall just for the experience and food I will definitely go back if I had a special occasion or to celebrate something.

Great dining experience. It took us a long time to get a table at Red Ash, but it was worth it. Their pastas are amazing. We also loved the marrow appetizer, as well as the halibut dish.

Make sure to make RESERVATIONS early in the day. We arrived 15 min early and sat at the bar. We received service from the bar and another young lady. They both were very knowledgeable about the dishes. Gave us great suggestions and explanations of dishes. Drinks are STRONG. We asked for bone marrow, the Italian garlic bread and carpaccio. Italian bread is to die for, crispy outside, soft inside. The carpaccio has a great combination of ingredients, I personally added a couple of lemon juice drops which totally enhanced the flavor. The bone marrow was buttery and with a strong aroma and flavor. The soft shell crab was not on the menu, ask for it!!! It was amazing. We asked for the crab pasta, 10/10! For dessert the apple crostata was amazing! Kudos to the pastry chef!!

Been here a few times. Extremely hard to get a reservation. The food is high quality and pretty good but for how hard it is to get a reservation, it’s definitely a bit overhyped. The tomato & burrata dish was delicious and the rigatonici alla compagnolia was really good too but we weren’t that impressed with the olive oil cake & tiramisu. Great drink selections!

From start to finish, everything was delicious! We had the bread, snapper crudo, capelletti, agnelotti, and gelato. To drink, the Satan's circus, then espresso martini. It was all pretty fabulous! Service was prompt, and food came out at good times and temps. We did wish we had gotten the bone marrow and will next visit!

Amazing dining experience. Plan ahead with reservations!! They have it all - delicious food, great service & unique atmosphere. We ordered several items to share including the 30 day aged steak - excellent flavor, homemade pasta & baby carrots. Everything was delicious! Birthday guest received a sweet card & a dessert with candle. Could not have had a nicer Italian dining experience in Austin for a special friend’s special day! Thank you Red Ash! Oh, and the bread….. soooo delicious. Will have to try to make this at home. Never had anything like it. (Special thank you to our server Josh. I worked at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach & this staff has it together on how they work together. Never felt rushed either on this special night!)

Every bite filled my soul with a delightful taste I didn’t know my life was missing. 100% will return. I would literally just come back for the hot and crispy country italian bread, and I don’t even like bread! Favorite bread I’ve ever had but also the Mezzannote and Satan’s circus were delicious. We also ordered the Red Snapper Crudo, and Dios mío was it refreshing! Loved the protein and portions of the the Frutti De Mare and the Tagliolini with Fresh Blue Crab was heavenly. Lowkey was not a fan of the Tiramisu.

Literally our favorite restaurant so far in Austin. Love their bone Marrow risotto and Spaghelti al Nero di Seppia! What a shame that they are temporarily closed.

I went to Red Ash after work one day with some coworkers and had a great experience! Normally, I would have tried to make a reservation, but we had no problem walking in for drinks and appetizers. I ordered the Basilico for my drink and then got the red snapper crudo and san danielle prosciutto and buratta to share and they were all very delicious! Everything was worth it! Great for date night or after work happy hour. The service was great and we had a wonderful time!

Amazing food at a great price compare to most hyped place around Austin. We order some heavy stuff but they were so delicious! Wood roasted bone marrow was rich and flavorful. Bruschetta of prime steam, was a bit too fatty but the portion was very large. Small butter clams were delicious and be sure to ask for bread to dip in the sauce. That's the best part. We were so full from the appetizer, by the time we got to the Fruit do mare, we couldn't... But we had it the day after and it was so good still. It cames with really big pieces of seafood and it was very well seasoned.
