Rudy's Bbq - Austin - Photo album

I don’t review many chains but I will make an exception to this great establishment! The workers were very kind and recommended the turkey. They were not wrong! Perfectly smoked and complimented with potato salad made for a great lunch. The hand washing machine is also a fun time haha. Overall great
Great Barbecue and sides. Where this place really excels over EVERY BBQ restaurant, is the breakfast taco set up… you walk in the door and they have a variety of tacos ready to pick up; Bacon, Sausage, Brisket, Egg, Potato, etc. Plus, sauces, too. Pick up your tacos, PAY & GO. You’re literally out i
WOW! What an amazing place for breakfast tacos! Very friendly and efficiently run. Reasonably priced, too!
Mmmmm… Delicious BBQ! Meat was tender and juicy. BBQ sauce tasted amazing. Loved the creamed corn and baked beans. The Texan hospitality here was nice too.
Despite being a chain, Rudy’s is almost always a safe bet for some brisket or “BBQ”. Generally there is a wait but the line goes quick and the employees are fast in getting you served and moved along. The food is great quality for being a multi-location business. The brisket and turkey is always goo
First time having breakfast. Breakfast burritos were ok, nothing special. What stood out was the very polite gal taking the order. She was patient with me.
Summary: great food, great folks, family friendly The details: located not too far from the other Rudy's just down the road, the reason for 2 of them so close together is clear... People really like their Rudy BBQ. Lunch time and weekends can get busy but there is plenty of seating and the orderin
Been going to Rudy's for years and it never disappoints. Have tried lots of other places and they're not bad, but Rudy's is always my go-to. Faves are extra moist brisket, babies, pork loin, smoked potato, and green chilli stew. Their breakfast tacos are yummy too. And can't forget about their s
This place was amazing, true Texas Brisket. I ordered some Moist brisket, very moist...moist. I also had the fried chicken sandwich. The cream corn is a must. I wish I had the banana pudding over the chocolate oreo cookie. The Oreo was soggy but that makes sense. I liked the bottles in ice, super co
Whenever I had the chance to visit US, Rudy's will be my first place to go to. The beef brisket, especially the brisket moist is so so so darn good. I don't even think I can get bored of eating that. How I wish Rudy's will extend their franchise out of US but until that happens, I can only savor thi
When visiting my brother for 3 days we ate at Rudy's in Austin area. Good food, drinks, good prices, in the mid range. Cafeteria style set-up, picnic size tables, but still good place to go for lunch. Clean atmosphere and employees are great people here. Any new comer will not be disappointed comin
I love the friendly atmosphere. The moist brisket I ordered wasn't very moist at all but they did show it to me first and I approved. I don't much care for their potato salad, beans or bbq sauce but their pork ribs are great and their spicy sausage is really good! I get the 32oz cup and usually get
Great bbq. Rudy's is a very established and commercial BBQ brand in Austin. As such, I think it gets somewhat of a bad rap at times. BBQ snobs say you have to go to Franklins or Coopers to get really good BBQ, but I disagree. Rudy's has great BBQ and their staff is always friendly and happy to s
We had some issues with our online order, but Joey came through to resolve it for us almost instantly. The food was great, and the service was excellent! There are no other places like Rudy's, where they truly care about the customers. I highly recommend them if you are craving a BBQ. One of the bes
One of the most traditional BBQ Brisket places in Austin, all meat is cooked with oak and and you buy it by the pound. The sweet corn and coleslaw are great sides. Their home sauce is one of the secrets for the awesome taste.
Rudy's is a dependable source of good quality breakfast tacos, which was my mission on this trip. I was not disappointed, and a bag of tacos is a great way to get an early morning meeting off to a good start. You can either do grab and go if you are short on time or have them custom made.
The BEST pulled pork I’ve ever tried. The smoked baked potato is no joke either. My family also tried the brisket and the turkey and they were both excellent. They also publish all their allergens for anyone who is looking for a place that has all that easily available!
Great food on the way. A big surprise.
