Gourdough's Public House - Austin - Photo album

I've been here twice and both times have been excellent! They're menu has something for everyone and definitely save room for dessert! The Ron burgundy burger is delish and the black Betty is just the right amount of sweet and tart
Gourdough's was definitely a must try when in Austin. Very chill atmosphere with reclaimed wood vibes. It is a donut galore. With many different iterations of donut themes. The Donut burger is rich hearty and fun. The fried deviled eggs were a good way to start your meal. Desert was very good, coul
We went on a Sunday at lunch time for our first ever visit. I've always wanted to try this spot. The hostess was nice and the waiter was very attentive. It appeared they are a bit short staffed since there were lots of clean tables open but they were on a 30 minute wait. No worries, everyone is
It's over the top. It's amazing. It's a blast and outrageous and a down south guilt pleasure. Get these big fat donuts! At least try them once. There's a reason why there is so much hype around this place. I love the variety of sweet and savory options. Portion sizes are huge but you're also paying
Fun fact, you won’t find a single glazed donut here. What you will find is donut hamburgers, donut sandwiches and even donuts with salad. Fun atmosphere, unique dining experience and great food. I had a “Double D” burger (made single patty) which was very tasty but a little messy with the Buffalo sa
At this place it was a more memorable experience than expected. We had some good menu items that were a burst of flavors that satisfied the taste buds. I give the whole experience a very good rating and I will be back sooner rather than later. Our only complaints were that it was very hot inside of
Absolutely delicious! Such a fun environment and fun foods to choose from on the menu. Their dessert donuts are amazing.. I was in Austin just a week and HAD to go back for dessert a second time! *Donuts are light and soft on the inside with a subtle crisp outside. They’re unglazed making a perfect
The burgers are HUGE and delicious. Love the outdoor seating with games to play. The appetizer was incredible! You won’t wanna eat for days after lol so much food!
Nice atmosphere. All the food we ordered tasted good. The grilled cheese was overpriced. Service was OK, they seemed understaffed. Didn't get dessert, so next time I'm in Austin I'll stop in to try some of their gourmet doughnuts.
Everything you want on a donut and more. Imagine perfectly cooked donuts topped with perfectly fried chicken. If I could do it over, I'd get the honey chicken, but my photo is of the clucker which included sweet creamed corn and potato pancake, but it kind of over took the taste of the crispy chicke
Yummy and amazing donuts with unique toppings that you need to use a fork and knife to eat. Pretty much the whole menu (even the salads) come with some iteration of donut. I’d suggest trying a few with friends (and over drinks as well) to try more than just one, because one donut is way more than en
Amazing. Granted you're paying about $16 for your burger, but worth it. I had the Ron Burgundy and the Phat Club. Both were great. Even the sweet tea was great.
Heard about this restaurant awhile back and I finally got to try it out. I have to say the food definitely lives up to the hype. Highly recommend you come here hungry cause the food fills you up. My partner and I each got an entree and shared an appetizer. I got the Drunken Hunk which is meatloaf wi
Came for lunch about noon and since the inside was packed we sat outside. Our server tana was great and smiled constantly. There are trees outside and misters to help with the heat but that only does so much once the sun comes out. We sat at a table for two on the wall, we were talking to a four top
Wow I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I knew they had the donut theme but I’m not a fan of too sweet things so I was a bit skeptical. But the donuts are just light and flaky not necessarily sweet on the main menu items. I had the dirty south, such a large portion and omg the cranberry habanero jam 🤤
Excellent food, drinks, and service! We were able to bring our dogs on the patio for brinch underneath misters and lounging in the shade. We ordered thw drunken hunk, diablo, country clucker, and shared a sin-a-bomb. Absolutely delicious. Awesome coffee and the drinks were great quality and well pri
I was looking for a bite and stumbled across gourdough’s and wanted to test a savoury donut! Omg it was deadly…. In the best way possible. The jalapeños were sweet and spicy and those huge pieces of bacon added the perfect amount of salt. The dough was chewy and delicious! Definitely happy we tried
Unique ambiance and menu to match! All menu items have a donut in them, even my Public House Salad. The drinks menu has extensive amounts of coffee drinks (with alcohol) and there is a great dessert menu as well.
