Magnolia Cafe South - Austin - Photo album

This was our first time here & we absolutely loved every part of it. We were on a wait list of 37 ahead of us, but had plenty of things to explore around it to pass the time!! Our server, John Mark, made the experience a true joy! He was extremely funny, helpful, & amazing at his job! Food was delic
I ordered a single buttermilk pancake, breakfast burrito and a mimosa. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros. The food was amazing and the salsa is really great. It is zingy and flavourful. I would totally eat here again. I came here as I saw it on the triple D listing. It was absolutely deliciou
Comfort food to the fullest! The plates are HUGE and the service was great as well. We had lots of food to take home and still left with our bellies full. Be sure to try the queso with beef. Absolutely delicious
One of the icons for ATX at the Congress avenue. So sad they closed the other location at the Lake Austin Boulevard. Staff is impeccable always! Food never disappoints, consistent always! Not the food or location makes Magnolia great but the people!
This place was packed when we got there so we put our name on the list and walked across the street and have a cup of coffee until they were ready for us. There were 31 parties in front of us and we waited for about 40 minutes. Well worth the wait. John Marc was our waiter and did an excellent job.
The breakfasts were delicious and the portions were very satisfying. I could only find this place in Austin with an American diner atmosphere. I think the prices are reasonable compared to Austin. The only thing I didn't like was that they came too many times to refill our coffee. 🙃
Always a wait on the weekends, but it’s worth it. Such a great brunch spot 😋 👌. The benedicta and omelets never miss. They also have excellent oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, and pie! Don't forget to check the board for daily specials, they may not all be on the menu. Service is always on point.
It was our first time here and really didn't know what to expect. Ordered the Bacon Swiss burger and Voodoo Spice burger with home fries and Wow! The burgers are very delicious, the meat seasoned and juicy and the home fries are perfectly seasoned!!
Incredible food and incredible service as well. Even though the restaurant was super busy, the service was still very very good. John Mark is a great waiter! The food is also out of this world. We got the Magnolia omelette and the jalapeno popper cornmeal pancake. They were both AWESOME.
I'm visiting from out of town and asked for other restaurants to check out and a few different TMs came by and gave me suggestions. Lovely people that work here. Everyone was so kind and friendly. My server and a was amazing! Very attentive and kind. The crossaint sandwich was delicious!
I have eaten breakfast here twice. On both occasions the omelettes were delicious. The potatoes actually have flavor and they are not dry. The fruit was also fresh. I will definitely return. Update: I have been here several times for breakfast, and I never disappoints. Today I got the omelette spec
Great food. Great service. A must if you are visiting Austin. Be sure to try the apple pie with ice cream.
This place was incredible and out waitress so so nice and cool. Loved it. I had the special picadillo omelette covered in cheese my god it was great
They only have hollandaise on the weekend and the menu had me at jalapeño bacon hollandaise! The grilled red potatoes were a great compliment. The server recommended one pancake to split which was wise. We couldn’t finish.
Our favorite food place during our trip to Austin! Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, & tasted so good. The strawberry n pecan pancake hit the spot. The mud queso and salsa was bomb, the chicken stir fry was yummy! Oh and John was a wonderful server. We would definitely stop by again if we’re in
The experience was great! Quick wait, quick food and excellent taste. The salsa that came with the tacos was amazing.
Amazing food with lot of options for vegetarian. They patio seating as well. Different options for food from Mexican, Omelette, Sandwich and more. This is place is always crowded on weekend during brunch hours so be prepared to wait for 1 hour but the location is good so put your name in queue and
Service was impeccable! Thanks Charisse! I loved the food, portions are hefty, and the homemade salsa was amazing! It’s got the hustling busy diner feel, but I had like five different people asking me if I was doing ok or needed anything throughout my time there.
My family and I visited Magnolia Cafe before a long trip back home and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and our server was super sweet. We told her we were heading back home and she made us coffee to go. It’s such a cute place!
