G'raj Mahal - Austin - Photo album

I have really high standards when it comes to Indian food because well I'm from India so. This place really surprised me and I can recommend this as one on my top 10 in Austin. Having said that, good things - their spice levels - mild to spicy to desi spicy - that's amazing. It has ample amounts of
Good food. This was really the first authentic Indian food that I have had but I have to say that it was well done. Nice atmosphere and the food was great! Good selection, the menu even had a break down of the ingredients. The waitress was helpful and the food didn't seem to take that long to arrive
I loved this this place. I’m not a huge fan of Indian cuisine due to too much curry and hot spices or sone foods tend to be bland. I’ve been overwhelmed with local Mexican and brew pub food. I love the ambience of this place and really wanted to dine in this beautiful place. I explained to the waite
Great food here. We got the makhani and vindaloo and they’re both great with proportionate spice levels. (medium’s good if you’re usually tame with spice) Service was great and they had a man playing, maybe Italian, lovely music with a kind of unique guitar. I love the lighting too. Overall, the am
We were there for a concert. This concert was on a back patio of the restaurant. Restaurant was full, but service on our patio was fast. Food was amazing! I’d love to come back when I am in Austin again. Really cool place, with a charming atmosphere and delicious food. Oh! They bake fresh bread in t
Was feeling adventurous and tried the 'Super Spicy' level with our food. Totally worth every watery eyed gasps of air we had to take to finish this deliciousness! The masala chai in particular was my favorite - tasted like a warm, fragrant hug in a cup!
The food and service is wonderful. The atmosphere and the place itself is very nice but the lighting is dim, so make sure to bring a flashlight to be able to see the menu. Though I have to say that if ur looking for spicy food here, then u might wanna ask for extra spicy because even just a little b
Absolutely delicious, authentic Indian food. There were a lot of vegetarian and dairy-free options as well. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and quality of food. Highly recommend!
Decent Indian food. Great location, right on the busy Rainey Street. We had vegetable korma and chicken malabar and both were good.
My go-to for Indian food in Austin any night of the week. The Fruits & Nuts Naan is my favorite, accompanies any dish. I always go for the Tikka Masala with Chicken (med spicy) and another dish, such as the Korma or Makhani with Lamb, and slightly spicier. Portions are good and always flavorful. I
Love the ambiance and the service. The restaurant looks really wonderful and interesting. The spice level is wonderful and if you visit in winter do try the ‘tamatar soup’ full spicy.
I was a bit hesitant because I have always considered the cuisine as described better than it actually is. G'Raj made me admit that I have never had Indian cuisine before. It was so good and hearty. The tastes were distinct but perfectly balanced and the naan, the garlic- oh the garlic- dipped in th
We visited the restaurant for the first time yesterday. The two curries we ordered were excellent. The server, Victoria, brought me a side of spice that was perfect - my party preferred mild and I was able to add spice as needed for my pallet. The naan was good. My only feedback is that they didn’t
