Mai Thai Restaurant - Austin - Photo album

The food was very good, flavorful but the quantity is less for the price especially the appetizers. Good location, parking might be a problem as it is street side paid parking. The service can be better, maybe smile, greet etc.
Best Tom Kha soup in North + Central Austin. As an Asian, the spices and dishes taste like elevated comfort food. Very delicious. Every dish is flavorful, dependable, clean. They can make it as spicy as needed. The hosts + kitchen are very kind and accommodating. The location has existed for years,
Been a long time customer! Great quality food & amazing customer service! Highly recommend them. They are my go-to for Thai food in the Austin downtown area. Good serving size , sumptuous for lunch and dinner alike! —Siva
I ordered the Pad Kee Mao with Chicken for takeout. It was ready quickly and was hot. The flavor was savory and spicy. I’d definitely return, dine in and try other items on the menu.
Restaurant is conveniently located within 2 blocks of the downtown hotels by the convention center. Friendly service. Food came out really fast, 3-4 mins after placing the order. The food was good - fresh ingredients and good portion. Pad Thai was good. The papaya salad (somtum) could have been a b
Hubby and I came here for dinner. We ordered a pot of Po Tak which is a seafooTomYum Soup. It had shrimps, mussels, squid, scallops, mushrooms, and all the other goodies all of which I like. This soup though is clear and not reddish in color like the atom Yum Soup we are used to, and the flavor is m
Food is good and we find the tom yum soup is bit too sour. We like the eggplant with ground pork.
Centrally located restaurant with a variety of options on a well stocked menu. Food was tasty, good size portions and presented well at a reasonable price. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered chicken satay, fresh spring roll, pad see ew, crab fried rice, green curry. Crab fried rice and gree
A block from the Austin Convention Center on San Jacinto. Tried their spring rolls, Tom Yum soup, Son-in-law eggs and Eggplant Delight. Pretty tasty food. The Eggplant Delight was good but a bit too salty for me. Great service!
The pork Vermicelli Noodle was really tasty. The sauces were especially tangy and sweet. They paired wonderfully. I thought the pork was a tad dry, otherwise flavor was great. I wanna try something else from here sometime soon.
Super great food and a portion. Service 10/10!! Highly recommend
Absolutely delicious! Ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer and the pineapple fried rice as an entree. Everything was perfectly spicy and savory. The customer service was fast and friendly. Will definitely come again!
Nice ambience with outdoor seating. My server, Lina was very friendly. Their appetizer coconut shrimps were fried evenly, had a good layering between shrimp and batter, crispy and quite addictive. Nice presentation with the cold pickled cucumber and sauce. The Northern Thai curry noodle Kao Soi ca
Really good food! We tried to go last night but they were fully booked, but they’re quiet in the early afternoon. They had large quantities and the price was good; we had plenty of leftovers. The restaurant is small but cosy, and the service was great; everyone was super friendly. We got the tom yam
Great food, great service! What else do you need!?
