Staff is incredibly friendly. Selection is unbelievable. May be the best damn queso we have ever had.

I absolutely love this place. This is where I take everyone who visits me. In fact, this is always the first place my mom wants to come when she's in Austin. Their customer service is also ace. I recommend buying the Diablo sauce.

We take all our visitors to Torchy's. If you are looking for delicious food and not just "authentic" tacos, the flavors and combinations are amazing. My favorites are the Independent and the Fried Avocado. I'm not vegetarian but these meatless tacos never leave me hungry! Yum!

I've been to Torchy's many times and places and loved them all. This visit i went on Valentines day. My Bicycle club had a social ride and this was one of our stops. Never had to bike to get Torchy's but I found out it is possible to make Torchy's even better...ride your bike and every last bite will taste even more amazing than all the other times you've been. Also the staff was friendly and got our orders quick and all right. Thanks for being awesome!

If you go in it is a pretty standard Torchy’s experience. We love this Austin based local chain.
First time for 3 of our party of 4 to eat at Torchy's Tacos. We arrived right in time for the brunch menu. It was a bit chilly and threatening rain. Parking was tight but we did find a spot. We had to wait about 15 min to be seated on the patio where the heaters kept us comfy. I would note that parking could be a problem as it is a popular spot.
Our waiter was in training and did a fine job under the tutelage of his trainer. He took our order and served us in no time.
The coffee and our food was great.

Torchy's was highly recommended by my colleague so I knew I had to try this one day. I missed the chance last year but this year I finally managed to savor the nice Taco's from Torchy's.
TLDR version - just go ahead and order Trailer Park.
Okay, the Trailer Park is highly recommended because the fried chicken is so so good. It just became my instant all time favorite. I really like how the thin tortilla fluor just act as a complement to the fried chicken meat (main star) and the same goes to cheese, lettuce, green chillies etc. They just add a nice overall flavour to the taco besides the fried chicken.
Now the same cannot be said about Brushfire. The meat included inside is kinda salty. It says it is Jamaican Jerk Chicken so I guess it is a jerky and hence the saltiness? I wouldn't really recommend this one though.
The place is spacious enough for parking and also for visitors seating is not a lot but just nice imho. Inside the restaurant has less and limited space so we sit outside and it was perfect. Nice cool breathe and relaxing atmosphere.
I will definitely go back again for the "Trailer Park". 😉
Politics and politicians suck! But Touchy's Republicans and Democrats taste delicious! Also try the Hogfather!
I ordered delivery via DoorDash, so the tacos looked a bit messy but the taste was very good. The potato, egg and cheese breakfast taco was ok but nothing special. The Ranch Hand, on the other hand, was fantastic and I loved the Diablo sauce. The only problem I had was that I paid nearly $20 for 2 tacos, which is definitely too much. I’d recommend getting takeaway or dining at Torchy’s, to avoid the overpriced delivery services.
This place has nice service, and the food is good. Each taco comes with a small serving of sauce. They have a variety of tacos and sauces (at different spice levels). The queso is spicy, and the guacamole is fresh. I did not like the small indoor seating area, and it was too hot to sit outside so I decided to order my food to go.
Good tacos! The atmosphere is laid back and more like fast food, but the food is quality.
Queso- solid. Would come back for more
Trailer park taco - A must get. Definitely ”make it trashy” it’s a fried chicken taco!
pro tip: give that taco a dunk in the queso 👌
Republican taco - disappointing. Personally I thought the sausage was too hard to tear in the taco.
Green Chile pork - good elements, but was a little dry. Adding more sauce elevates it.
We love the Torchys chain. So the tacos of course were fabulous!! So many options and the cashier was a huge source of knowledge! The outside area was super cute as well! Great for sitting outside with friends or hanging by yourself with a book. Though come early. It fills up quick!
This review is more for the service than the food. The queso is excellent and the tacos are good, but the staff are always working incredibly hard and fast, and they are very friendly. My daughter is a big fan of the fried avocado taco.

The food quality is amazing. Flavor is hard to match and very consistent across different locations. Good service. The AC was not working on 100 + degrees 😅 but they had a commercial floor fans doing good job at keeping the place bearable. The bathrooms need more TLC. The food again made up for the shortcomings of the AC. I will still go find Torchys Tacos but most likely at a different location. Thank you. 🌮
Torchys always has great service and food. My usual is the crossroads, trailer park and breakfast tacos bacon egg cheese. Been here several times food is always on point. Queso is always great as well. The only thing is that it’s kinda pricey for tacos but other than that it’s good.
Tacos were amazing as always! Nothing beats the guilty pleasure of a trashy trailer park and a margarita.
I've also picked up here as a Dasher many times and the staff is always so cordial and professional. Definitely a good spot.

I went there for dinner with my husband we asked for two different type of taco one with shrimp and another one was chicken. The one with shrimp was really awesome you must try that one and chicken one was lil salty other wise its good too. I will definitely go there some other time. Staff was also good.
Best Taco place in Austin. You shouldn’t miss Torchy’s taco even if you are in town for a day or few hours. Fresh ingredients with their secret recipes makes your mouth drooling. My favorite taco is Democrat, Wrangler and shrimp taco, l’m sure you can find your favorite one too.
Torchys has one if the best tacos. I tried their breakfast menu and it was very tasty. If you want more meat and no eggs, try their regular tacos. Indoor and outdoor seating.
The ultimate hipster tacos. A nice variety. Very clear menu. Prompt service.. NO A/C!!! At 97 degrees nothing tastes that good. Buch Torchy's was pretty good.
OMG I just love the tacos especially the Democrat (that’s my favorite but they are all so good) and the chips and salsa and the great margaritas, get on the rocks with salt.
