The best escargot I've ever tasted and the homemade baguette for dipping made it even better as you sop up the last of the garlic butter. I also had the special of the day which was a succulent lamb chop w/ rissoto. They keep an eclectic array of records spinning as the crowd is enjoying themselves inside and on the patio. Our waitress Lou Lou was amazing and extremely pleasant while steadily keeping up with her tables. Bring a date here, bring your Mom here, meet your friends here. Its a WINNER!!! Literally, they also have an award winning burger on the menu. Enjoy!!

The best place with the best people and the best ambience. Justine's has added something special to Austin's cool quotient, and that is hard to do. I've loved it since my first time and even more today after 100 or so times. Cheers to Justine & Pierre, and their family of amazing creatives! *****

This is a very interesting restaurant! The food was so good! They start you with a basket of bread and the best olive oil dip I've ever had. We shared an order of escargot which was so good we dipped some of the bread in the leftover butter and garlic. My tablemate had the ribeye, which he said was delicious. I ordered the pork chop, which came with the most flavorful potatoes au gratin. The sauces on the plate were superb! This place is pricey but worth it!

First time a few weeks ago during Oscar night, the staff all wore gowns and the ambiance was amazing. The food was amazing (escargot is still my fave). This French Texas girl strongly approves!

It’s the details that matter. From the amazing ingredients to the freshly ground coffee; From the stylish staff to the vintage French decor; Justine’s French influence was present. Justine’s is a restaurant where everything seems to be a on the same page. The staff were professional, hospitable, sweet, while not taking themselves too seriously. The service complimented the well made classic French dishes. If you’ve ever wanted to experience a proper French restaurant in the states. This is as close as it gets.

Walking into Justine's immediately leaves an impression, especially at night. There's a very unique ambiance to the place, and the energy of it all set great expectations for the night, which were absolutely fulfilled. I wouldn't consider myself an expert in fine cuisine by a long shot, so I needed a little help understanding the menu, but the staff were super kind and willing to talk me through all the things I didn't know, and make recommendations. The entire evening, their energy was friendly and upbeat and I just couldn't help but smile every time they showed up to check in on us or bring us food. The steak I had was fantastic, cooked exactly how I asked, and the fries that came with it were honestly the best I've had in a long time. The appetizers were all amazing, from the fromage flight to the octopus. The sourdough bread that accompanied them was amazing, to the point multiple members of my group commented such. The unexpected favorite for me was the escargot--I I've never had escargot before, so I tried it with some trepidation when we ordered it as a group appetizer. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Savory, herby, garlic-buttery heaven! Definitely recommend it. Wrapped up the night with creme brulee, and I'd absolutely come back here for even just that alone. My first night at Justine's was definitely a memorable highlight of my visit to Austin, and is on my short list for my next visit. If you like fine food and a unique, fun, quirky atmosphere, this is the place to be!

Service is awesome, food is good, and prices high. We had a terrine and a pâté appetizers, both a bit firm but decent flavor. The French Onion Soup was good but lacked depth and was a large serving for an appetizer. The Pasta Bolognese was very good, and a single serving could have been enough for four! The Royale burger was very good, but Cheddar masked the excellent flavor of the meat. Havarti might be a better choice. (I wasn't given a choice.) The special Short Rib Bourguignon was excellent. The chocolate mousse dessert was very good.

Such a solid spot! Moved to Austin from NYC and this restaurant/bar so closely resembles an establishment straight from the city with its depth and flavors. My go-to spot for great food and drinks. Always bring friends here, hopeful it doesn’t get invaded by tourists.

Just moved to Austin and found this place on Google. I'm from London so used to cool little spots. This place is so charming and feels very European. Even the guests were dressed up a bit, rare for Austin. We sat at the bar in the main room. I highly recommend this spot if it is just two of you. The food was great, only comment is that the Moules were kind of small; but delicious, might be the season? Scotty (the French bartender, go figure) was great and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Free attended parking across the street was great because the area does feel a little sketchy, so parked my convertible with confidence. Highly recommend Justine's and I will be going back often.

We were fortunate enough to make a late night visit to Justine's on our very first night in Austin. Despite being our last option for the night, it quickly turned into our first choice for a delightful dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with the utmost respect and kindness by our bartender. His friendly demeanour and professional service added a layer of warmth to our dining experience. It was especially wonderful to enjoy the unique vibe behind the bar, where we felt at home amidst the energetic ambiance. The drinks selection was impressive, but the Old Fashioned and the Espresso Martini truly stood out. The Old Fashioned was well-balanced, boasting a perfect blend of sweet and bitter that exemplified the classic cocktail. The Espresso Martini was an unexpected delight, delicious and with a balanced kick that left us yearning for more. When it came to the food, Justine's truly shone. Their Onion Soup was simply the star of the night, an exquisite blend of flavors that was both comforting and tantalizing. The Rare Steak and Fries, too, were impeccably made! Tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection! If you're ever in town, make sure to stop by, you won't be disappointed!

Appetizers were tasty, ordered escargot, smoked salmon, and octopus. Entree wasn’t what we expected, the wine-braised beef reminded me of shepherds pie. Still edible but left me bloated for days! Ambiance was like a moulin Rouge vibe, had a hard time reading the menu cause it was dark. Service was mid, only complaint would be they wouldn’t split our bill 2 ways for a party of 4..

Really tasty dishes and a different environment! Every dish that came to our table was great and the service was very polite. The steak frites, pot roast, burger, and deserts were all equally delicious. Try the layered desert with vanilla cream - that was extraordinary!
