Love the tacos here! Also devoured a bowl of Queso. Try the brisket tacos!! Place is bustling with people, and there is such an elective mix of decor and plants it feels like a different world when you step to escape the heat. Service was great too!
Wasn't spicy enough, but still delicious and lovely to go to! I adore all the decorations on the wall, makes the place that much more atmospheric. The frozen margaritas were delightful.

I've never had service so fast! Great place to eat if you're in a rush. The al pastor tacos and enchiladas verdes were great. The queso sauce was an orange cheese. The margaritas were small but mighty.
Although it was extremely crowded and loud, we really enjoyed the food. Our waiter was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a lot of food to choose from. The food was very flavorful to the point of my husband actually eating the vegetables and not tossing them to the side!
A great Austin taco bar and restaurant in SOCO- South Congress. The place was lovely, the service was good in spite of it being busy on a Saturday morning. And the food was fine. The warm chips and self service salsa bar is a great addition. The ambiance is wonderful, lots of photos and memorabilia on the walls makes it interesting. I would’ve loved to have stayed and watched the band next door, maybe next time.
An Austin classic and a mandatory dinner spot for visitors. It has our favorite tex-mex in town. The menu has something for everyone including a large and awesome vegan menu. Don't forget to try all of the salsas. The views of downtown and the capital from this section of South Congress are priceless.
We went to this place to try Mexican food. The atmosphere is incredible. I loved the restaurant's generosity in offering taco chips and dips on the table. They have a separate vegan and vegetarian menu where you can still enjoy the great food.

I like the different salsa options at the salsa bar. The food is good, the servers are helpful. A fun experience for a group of 6.
Very nice place. It's always busy (so it's always LOUD) but the food is great. Drinks are a little pricey but for this neighborhood they aren't too bad. I had the jalapeño margarita and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Enjoyed a late lunch at Gueros and their separate vegan menu had so many offerings it was hard to choose one! I got the soy chorizo corn tacos with a side of charro beans, potatoes, and the pineapple topping. (Note: It comes with additional toppings or a choice of flour tortilla but I modified my order. There is also a gluten free menu as well but I didn’t notice if there were vegan AND gluten free options so you may want to ask beforehand if you need both accommodations.)

I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad I came back because I was craving some good Mexican food. As I remember, it was fantastic. I'm a fan of the fajitas. If you want to get pleasantly stuffed, that's the way to go. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with that. Then, top it off with a flan, and you'll be driving from the back seat of your SUV. Well, okay. That's hyperbolic, but you'll feel that way and have a smile on your face. The service is right on, too. Our server tonight made certain we were taken care of the whole time. She was worth the 20% plus tip.

Tacos al pastor are the best and Samuel and Eric are great bartenders. The kitchen even sent me some of their special salsa they had in the back!
