Amazing tacos and enchiladas. Chips are wonderful and the salsa works perfectly with them. Service is always friendly and wonderful - smiles everywhere. Great way to take a break from traveling 35 southbound before hitting downtown Austin.

Great little spot off 35. Drinks are strong! The Mango-nata is MUST try! The food is overpriced for the quality. Needs to be seasoned. Food isn’t bad but if you are going to charge those prices, I expect the food to match. I recommend this place. Hopefully the food is better next time I come back.

This has been a favorite 'go to' Mexican restaurant of ours for decades. They have some of the very best corn "puffy" tacos around. Parking is the biggest problem, but well worth a short walk, to taste some of their authentic TexMex fare. They also have daily specials along with drink specials. Ole!

The food and value are hard to beat. Great TXMex in Austin and a staple of the town. Lunch and dinner are awesome. The service isn't bad, just not top notch same with the atmosphere. But you get what you should expect. Just go and enjoy. The tacos are WONDERFUL.

Went on Saturday for lunch, and it was AMAZING ♡ I used to go all the time when it was located at the Capital Plaza Shopping Center, and when it relocated, I assumed it wouldn't be the same and that was a mistake! I finally went, and I was taken on a date here, and let me say It's bad always to assume. The food is still as amazing as before. The service here is great!! It's way bigger as well and very nice inside. Our waitor was great, and we'd given him a tip for such great service. Will definitely be coming back. MUST TRY THE CARNE GUISADA 😋 NOW the best spot I've ever had this made at HANDS down ♡♡

Our server had many tops to keep up with. For this reason service was delayed. I hold management accountable for under staffing. The server did s great job of remembering each person's order and the food was served hot the drinks cold.

I went in to watch the Longhorn game. Last week. And the food was amazing. The service. The atmosphere. Everything. I love this place. My family, friends and I love it. Anytime we all get together. For any reason. They say where are we going? And we tell our out of town guest and family. The only place in Austin. That has good food and good people. Amayas North Location: 5804 Interstate 35, Austin TX 78751, US. So don't take my word for it. Just stop by. You won't be disappointed 🙂🥰🤩

I have to say they had the best salsa and chips I have had in a long time. The beef enchilada plate was excellent. I even went back for breakfast tacos the next morning. Both the gusada and bacon and egg were delicious.

Very attentive staff and a bright, open space. Seems like a good place to come with your family. The food was a little pricey compared to other places but they did give us big portions.

Been a while to be back. Why? I had to ask myself. So good! I had the Deluxe Dinner with the Tamale. Back again!!! Since I wrote the update today. 26 years and still a favorite. Live over an hour away. Otherwise I'd be there more often.
