The paninis are outstanding! The Cesar salad was delicious, the pizza is perfect, the cappuccino was what you would expect in Italy. And everyone working there is so nice and friendly, they were checking on us frequently and they were very attentive, will definitely be back. It was a very authentic Italian restaurant experience, you can't go wrong with this place.

Josh and AJ were awesome. Food was great, seasoning was perfect (salt was not overused as a crutch). Super Tuscan wine was a great value. AJ's suggestions were spot on when she asked about our food interests. Josh was the kindest and coolest bartender...great for conversation (he's a busy man so keep it brief!) Seating is at a premium so be patient or make reservations. Pro tip: Chocolate martini is freaking awesome Con: seating can be very limited, but the bar is very accommodating!

One of the staff at JW Marriott recommended this as the perfect place to senrgize and dine in an authentic Italian environment. We were not disappointed. The owners are from Northern and Southern Italy. Dishes are prepared in both styles! We were blessed to have Matt as our server! When you come, ask for Matt. He walks you through the wine selection... incredibly amazing Italian wines, his recommendations for food based on our food choices was spot on. We will return. If you are in downtown Austion, this is a must stop!

The food here is phenomenal! Homemade pasta. This is the best pizza I’ve had since being in Italy last year. The tiramisu is so good as well!

The best Italian food I’ve had in Texas! Being from Europe, I tend to have high standards for Italian food and this place nailed it. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and when one of the food items we ordered wasn’t to our liking, he compensated us with some great tiramisu. Everything is fresh! Try the eggplant parmigiana, which is exactly how you would get it in Italy. They make a great espresso martini as well! Service is top notch. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Matt was great to have at our table and made sure everything was up to par. Italian food in Austin? Go here or bust.

This is about as close as you're going to get to a "hole in the wall" Italian food spot in downtown Austin. The food here is wonderful ranging from the pastas (none of which you can go wrong with), to the Eggplant Parmesan, to even the pizzas. The space itself inside is very small and cozy. The service is also great too. The one thing that is only fair to mention now that we are in the summer months is that the inside gets very hot as if there is no air conditioning. So if you are looking to be in a very cool place on a hot sunny day, this place might not be your spot. If you are okay with it being warm inside and are craving some Italian food, then you can't go wrong here.

A busy place! We were walkins and there was only outside seating on a HOT evening. It was a nice atmosphere and location. Our server and the overall service was AMAZING. The Arancina Traditionale and Margherita pizza was goooood. I wasn't a fan of the Cacio e Pepe but I saw others enjoying it.

Amazing Italian place. Very cute inside and the staff is spectacular. We sat at the bar and while watching the bartender make a drink I said to my friend it looked good and she gave me a little taster. I didn’t even realize she was listening to us! Great customer service. Food is wonderful! Highly recommend.

Very authentic italian food. (Owners seem to be italian) Services is okay but understandable since its a small restaurant. Big portions and quality ingredients. We ordered the cacio e pepe and a small prosciutto pizza and we had leftovers to go. Tiramisu is also really good. Will definitely return.

The most authentic Italian I’ve ever eaten in Texas- the dishes are all Italian family recipes and from my best guess- a combination of simple ingredients, consistency and staying true to culture. The Cacio y Pepe is served from a cheese wheel right at your table and Numero28 has several wines on Tap. Will be back!
