Fantastic service, wonderful food: spare ribs with crispy, tangy yet sweet, sauce and the meat falls off the bone the instant you pick it up. I had batter fried shrimp- big juicy with just a little batter ...so good we came back two days in a row.... great Caesar salad and a loaf of soft, moist dark bread.

Research Blvd(Hwy 183) location. We took my father for his 82nd bday, we love steak & Salt Grass is his fav. He ordered 12 oz prime rib, he ate the whole thing. I had a 8 oz, Very tender & cooked perfectly. My husband ordered bone in ribeye, also cooked perfectly, with great sides. Ordered Cheesecake to go for my dad, serving large enough for 2 ppl, came with sauces & big strawberry on side. Great restaurant, Great service.

Always love to eat at Saltgrass ,my favorite Steakhouse. Went with my son Friday evening and was served by a nice waitress who was interested in our plans for the evening, but was professional and courteous. I had the surf and turf (ribeye and coconut shrimp) that was prepared just as I like it. My son had the grilled Chicken and had it scarfed down before I knew it. Wish there was one in Copperas Cove!! Don't get to eat there enough.

Jesse was our server and Josh helped him out. I had called ahead and spoken with Megan. It was because of her professionalism, but I helpfulness and great attitude that I decided to eat here. I ordered the Ribeye, loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. The Caesar had its own original flavor, not quite what I would associate with a Caesar salad, but but it was tasty. The Ribeye was excellent! I ordered it Medium and it was the perfect temperature and flavor. Unfortunately, my picture was taken after I had eaten about half of the steak. The food was excellent. My friend ordered

This was my 1st time here. I was unaware we needed to make reservations for a party of 20. I thought we would just have a wait time. However, they still worked us in! Seated us in 30 mins, got our drinks and appetizers amazingly quick! Our servers were amazing at making sure we had everything as we needed! The food was fresh and delicious! 10/10

Outstanding service from Joshua. We went to an early dinner there a few days ago. My elderly in-laws were a bit slow in ordering. Instead of being impatient, Joshua really assisted all of us in our meal selection. I'm impressed. Please hire more folks like him. He was a true waiter who WAITED on us, instead of interrupting us. Great manners, excellent service even though he had multiple tables. We'll be back!

There’s not much to say, considering we were starving. Besides the ridiculous wait time during a Sunday afternoon, which was questionable might I add (why was there a 90 min wait when there’s tons of open tables), the overall experience was great. We just hijacked the bar and grabbed some delicious food. Maybe we were starving or maybe the food was really good? Either way we left happy. Little pricey I suppose but I guess it’s a “steak house”. If your in the area and want a fulfilling and tasty meal, why not come here?

One heck of a steak cooked to perfection. The wife had the chicken, which was moist and juicy. Food is top notch. Service was excellent. Very friendly, happy to make recommendations and very attentive. The place is very clean with well appointed decor. Obviously I recommend.

If you've seen my restaurant reviews you know that food is only as good as the service. Trevor was our server today and he shines beyond words. We never had to ask for anything because Trevor literally anticipated every move. Proactive at another level and the food was delivered quick, was hot and delicious. Not overly talkative, but very attentive and meticulous to the details. We are visiting from Houston and have eaten at more than 10 different locations this year including Dallas, The Woodlands, Houston and Austin. The service here knocks them all out of the top ranking. Thank you for your spirit of excellence. Refreshing!

The food always taste amazing here and the drinks do too. Plenty of food from the time you sit down to the time you leave. Between bread, salads, and your steak you won’t go hungry at this place. Everyone is friendly here as well.

I ordered the Salmon Oscar and my husband ordered the ribs and shrimp. The brussel spouts were AMAZING! Not sure the salmon was worth $30. It was not bad. Next time I'll stick to steak. My husband loved the ribs.

I enjoyed an excellent meal with friends who's recommendation. It was that we go to the saltgrass steakhouse. An excellent recommendation. I was not disappointed. The bread was fresh and we had appetizers to split between us for a table of eight and were not disappointed. I had the Salmon Oscar definitely some of the best salmon that I have had in a while. The service was crisp and courteous even though we were a large party. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good steakhouse in the area.

I'm a visitor to Austin, and I had a truly wonderful dinner here. My waiter, Brady, was friendly and helpful. The salad was fresh, cool and crisp, and came in a jiffy! My steak was perfectly cooked, tastey, juicy and filling. All the people there were having a good time. And I got quite a bit of value for my dollar! If I have a chance before I head home, I'll go back for another dinner! It's a great family restaurant. I noticed someone said "Ruth's Chris it is not.: Well, I just want to say good. RC is a great place to eat when someone else is paying and all you care about is scoring points. Saltgrass is for real people.

This place is what you'd expect for a steakhouse. My steak was a bit overcooked, but I also failed to ask about how they interpret the varying degrees of done-ness. The thing that surprised me was that they had gluten free bread! It was probably just a GF hamburger bun they put in the oven, but that's fine by me. It was nice to be able to snack on some bread and butter instead of just watching other people do it. Plus, they can use it for the burgers so it's a win win situation in my view.
