I’ve been to Pappadeaux’s several times and I can honestly admit that I’ve never had a bad meal. I try to have something new everytime and it’s always delicious. Last time I had crab fingers, Rocking!!!!! The waiter was great and although it was busy, me and my co worker got seated right away. I love this place.

One of the very best dining experiences I've ever had. Being that I've eaten in Europe, NYC, LA, Colorado, Fla, Up and down the east coast, Chicago, St Louis etc this is saying a lot. Great food , great service , great ambiance and very very clean place. I highly recommend to anyone thinking of trying there.

OMG can't ever say anything bad about this place! Other then it does get busy and you might have to wait a bit for service and/or a table. The food, drinks and service is on point. We usually hit the bar and find seats there and our usual bartender is working, sorry I am bad at names, but he is always attentive. (He made my first, First Kiss) We gorged ourselves this past weekend and the spirits relaxed us so much (Thanks Liz) we skipped dancing and went Zzzzz LOL. We are from San Marcos and drive allll the way up to North Austin to induldge, it's our go to restaurant. We need one in San Marcos!!!

I can’t remember the last time I had such great steak! Cooked to perfection and so tender it melted in my mouth! My wife’s flounder was just as delicious. She let me try some, with a little coaxing. Our server was just as awesome as the food. He was very polite, knew the menu well, and gave us great insight on our choices. He made our evening very enjoyable. If you haven’t experienced Pappadeaux’s, we highly suggest you do! I do not think you will be disappointed!

Excellent. From appitizer to desert. Can’t wait to go back. My stomach is growling just thinking about it. Those are the best grits I have ever had. And the baked clams wonderful. And the bread pudding, omg yum.

Fabulous food at a good price. The crab cake is the best in town ... Halibut was fresh and delicious and the Ettouffe true to its origins... friendly and helpful management and staff.

Love this place great food drinks and service. Tonight we had Christopher / aka Terrance Trent Darby you gotta ask for christoper when you go there. An excellent most friendly outgoing waiter. This is my new go to place and even better it’s only 5 min from my office! Danger danger in a good way!

2 visits in 1 week. That's how much we loved this place. Dinner was fantastic, but the restaurant is super noisy when busy, and it made it very tough to have a conversation. Service was excellent. Fried alligator was really yummy. Shrimp and grits was perfectly rich.

Our server Noah was amazing. This was my first time there, and he broke down the whole menu to me along with suggestions. He was very nice & cheerful and committed to his customers. He took our picture for us, too. The trout I had was outstanding.

3rd trip was not a charm…I had to ask for waters and bread for the table after 30 minutes of no services. then around 45 minutes into the visit we got a server who took our order then can back and told us they were out of half the stuff we ordered. The birthday girl placed a different order then 10 minutes later the manager comes out to say we’re out of that & offers the first thing we ordered. It was beyond frustrating we were there for over an hour before we could even order food. I was given sauce that had shellfish which i clearly stated I have allergies. So I didn’t eat but we made the server aware and she said it was the butter sauce but it was clearly the linguine sauce. I had picture to compare at that point I was just ready to go. This was not the experience I was expecting and felt horrible for bringing my family on a special night. Visit’s 1 & 2 Omg run don’t walk. The chicken was super tender & the buttery linguine sauce had me on a food high. The waiter was very pleasant and they were accommodating to my food allergies even asked additional questions to better understand the severity / sensitivity level. They offered an unmatched dining experience.

We've been multiple times and love the food here. Tonight, on New Years eve and it's packed. We've noticed they have dropped some stuff off the menu. I had the seafood salad. It was huge! Will had the stuffed crab with a baked potato. His mom had the trout with shrimp. She looked like she got the best deal. We are missing the mixed seafood grill. What happened to the bread budding!? 11/11 Service was slow. Looks like they've not yet fully recovered from the covid period....

Don’t walk, RUN, NOW! So I reserved a table online maybe 20mins before getting there, we had to wait roughly 5 minutes. Everyone greeted us and said happy birthday to me. We ordered the half dozen oysters also the crab and spinach dip. It was amazing. The bread and butter is better than any restaurant I’ve been to. For our entrées, we ordered the stuff shrimp, and the andouille gumbo. Everything tasted great. My husband thought the sausage in his gumbo were spicy, but still very delicious. This was our first time here and my new favorite. Our waiter name was Payton and he was very patient and thorough in guiding us through our dinner. The whole experience was a 10 out of 10. For everything we payed a good, hundred dollars yet it was worth every cent. We will be back once we get more money to spend lol. The environment was louder than I would have liked, but I get excited for good food so I’m not mad at everyone else having a great time. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone. OH, and for my birthday, they gave me a choice of a few different desserts, I chose the turtle brownie, and it absolutely topped, everything, and plus it was free.

Can’t go wrong with any dish here. Their calamari appetizer is really delicious and the red sauce that comes with it.

Great food with friendly service. Prices seem to have gone up significantly since my last visit. We had the lump crab cake as appetizer (about $36) and the seafood platter along with the Mahi Costa Rica. Each about $35. The cheesecake was very good. All big portions that can most likely be shared.

I have always wanted to try this restaurant and finally was in Austin and able to..... Came in for an early lunch. It was busy and decided to eat at the bar. Food was so BOMB!!!! I wish they had this in NYC!!!! I would come here often. Service was great, food was wonderful! My company was even better! ☺️.... Only thing they didn't have was a Cappuccino machine... other than that full bar and huge menu, large portions!!! Definitely a staple! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved that wild caught options were available. Food was delicious. Other visits prior, I ordered dishes that were unexpectedly on the saltier side.

This is definitely a special occasion place for us as the prices are pretty high. I decided to try something new (Grouper with crab and shrimp) this time and I liked it, but didn't love it like I love the shrimp & grits and the fried shrimp and fried stuffed crab! The gumbo, cheesecake and key lime pie were excellent though. The service was outstanding!

I love seafood and was excited to try this restaurant for a long time. The staff were very attentive and nice. The shrimp was the best I have ever had, in preparation and seasoning. The salmon was prepared medium rare and was very tasty. I can’t wait to come back and would definitely recommend this place to fellow seafood lovers.

I have eaten here 4 times and each time was amazing and lived up to the Pappas standards! I have eaten at the bar with amazing service and friendly chat. The table service is just as good. The food has always been amazing and fresh. The building is always clean.

Their menu has Cajun entrees and features seasonal fresh seafood. The only reason for four stars was the service. She was so slow and confused. Friendly and nice but really, it took her 12 min to come with the menu. But I get it. There was no one to clean the tables etc. Shortages everywhere. However. Food was absolutely delicious!

Pappadeaux Seafood kitchen has been the go-to seafood place since I came to Texas and it is great to see the taste has been consistent in all these years. From Crispy Alligator to Mixed Seafood Grill, the food quality is excellent as usual, combined with friendly staff and great service, the overall dining experience is outstanding. I highly recommend this place for the special occasions.

Went with my hubby for dinner. It was my 1st time coming here. The servers were very courteous. The food was delicious! Prices were higher than expected and picked up the cheapest meal, lol.
