Absolutely the best breakfast/brunch place you’ll find in Austin. They have sweet and savory meals, and they’re experts at both! Scotty is a great server and goes out of his way to make sure your experience is the best yet. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, there’s really no other option.
We visited two different locations during our week stay in Austin. Love this place! The strawberry banana vegan pancakes are to die for!
So of course the food was good, I’m a huge fan of the French toast platter because it’s light but filling. Let me tell you though. I had another experience earlier tonight before visiting this location with another restaurant that was terrible. This location is a staple of good character and awesomeness from their staff. Tried to cheer me up even when I didn’t need it. They were cool and stayed busy the whole time without missing a beat. I got my food promptly, it was delicious, and the fare is perfectly priced IMO.
Very nice service even at an odd morning hour. Always love the pancakes; the specials are always worth trying. It’s great to have this 24/7 diner available in south Austin. No wait at 5 am (go figure). �
Love ALL the Wait staff there on William Cannon!!! Management is so awesome and wow love the food. Also they got the giant Axe on the wall for cleanest KL and just can't wait to go back.
I just love me some Kerbey. Staff was great as always and food delish.

They made a delicious omelet and fresh squeezed orange juice! It's a perfect place for my pregnancy! Their wait line in the mornings are around 20-40 minutes so make sure you come early before 9am!

This Kerbey Lane cafe location is spacious with many tables and easy access parking. The place is always clean, never have I experienced a sticky table for example. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and responsive. Even on a Saturday morning with a full restaurant, we were seated quickly and served within 15 minutes after ordering. Now to the most important part, the food. The food quality at this location is impeccable. This visit I tried the baked potato omelet, which is an unexpectedly delicious flavor combination. The chicken tortilla soup was reportedly also delicious in combination with a beautiful Bloody Mary. One great thing about this restaurant is the food is consistently good quality.
Cute breakfast spot for our group of four. I appreciate the wait-list functionality that let us join before we got there. We were able to get seated within ten minutes of getting there and checking in with the host.
I split the Lemon Poppy Seed French Toast Platter and Cuban Benedict with Home Fries with one other person and it was the perfect amount of food.
I usually love French Toast but the lemon poppy seed with lemon glaze was too sweet and cakey to my liking. The Cuban Benedict was great and savory though.
Overall an enjoyable experience and I'd be open to coming back.

Food was solid, but our waitress really tailed off on service at the end. The bathroom hallway was getting re-tiled and was an active construction zone, so made getting to the bathroom a little tricky. DON’T order the margarita, worst thing I’ve EVER tasted.

This has been in my list of breakfast spots for a while and so glad we visited it last weekend.
It's a great place for American breakfast and some dishes that have Mexican spices fused in.
I ordered Chicken Benedict which was listed under one of their specialties. It's basically chicken and poached eggs over biscuits, with hollandaise sauce over. Totally loved my dish! The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. The biscuits were of the right consistency too. Not too hard nor too soft and the sauce was just lip smacking good!! Rating-5⭐️ for taste and fullness
2nd dish we ordered was California omelet was was not bad, it was a good omelet but I didn't find it wow. Found it a little bland for my palate but if you are someone who likes subtle taste, you can give this a try with some salt and pepper.
Rating - 4⭐️ for taste and 3.5⭐️ for fullness
3rd- pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs- this is a classic dish that cannot go wrong. Bacon was crispy, pancakes were soft and fluffy and my fav was the sausage patty here.
This dish came with a side of fresh fruits.

I tried the pumpkin bread French toast plate, it was amazing! It comes with eggs and choice of side, the bacon was perfect. Enjoy it while it is here. Sorry I was hungry so there's a bite missing from the photo. But definitely try it out if you get the chance, I really couldn't finish it all so have a nice treat for later as well.
I've been going to Kerbey Lane for years and it's always solid. The only issue is when they get busy, you end up waiting a bit. They all work hard here and try to make sure you enjoy your visit and the food. The food is fresh and they like to use local sources for their ingredients so it's great quality. I usually come here for breakfast. This trip included biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, and pumpkin pancakes and I'm super happy with this comfort meal. Now it's time to go enjoy a cat nap.
As you approach the front door, note the benches along the way that tell you this is a perennial crowd favorite. Even on Tuesday morning there was a lively breakfast crowd. I ordered the "Seasonal Paris Texas Platter" which has to be a distinctly Kerbey Lane menu item. It includes migas as well as the seasonal french toast which was lemon poppyseed. Of the 4 choices for sauce on the migas I chose the verde. It was fresh and bright and absolutely perfect. Try it. The french toast was not overly sweet and did not beat you over the head to let you know it was lemon poppyseed, making it thankfully less like the dessert of the meal. Service was quick and attentive. Come hungry to this place and leave satisfied.
This place is a really cute spot that I didn't even know about until my partner and I stumbled upon it, looking to broaden our horizons and this place is great. The wait staff are always really nice and very attentive. The food here is great! I've tried a little bit of everything and haven't found anything I wouldn't try or have again! They even change up their pancakes (flavors) or the month which I have tried the past two months and both were amazing! (Smore and peach cobbler) We will definately be back again!
We went for weekend brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I ordered the summer special green tomatillo eggs Benedict and my husband got the veggie burger. Everything came out fast and it tasted good.
Our service person was very attentive. She also pointed out that the freshly squeezed juices aren’t indeed freshly squeezed. It was a shame that they would falsely advertise, but she was honest and helped us from buying a $5 juice out of a can. Docking a star for the false advertising.
Overall a good place for breakfast!
The Meatloaf was very good as were the mashed potatoes. Our service was a little slow. Others in my group had breakfast which was good with ample portions.
