My first time in Austin; we ordered a gluten-free pizza. My boyfriend, who doesn't typically eat gluten-free split my pizza with me, the Ambassador. It did not disappoint. Amazing flavor, great crust. Sarah B., our waitress, even gave us gluten-free cheese bread - really good stuff! We finished our meal with the Boston Cooler sans the ginger snaps. It was refreshingly crisp! Great service, great food. Highly recommend!
Overall, excellent experience....staff and flavor! The sauce on this pizza was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had....and I’ve had LOTS of pizza! � Our servers were the best! We had a wonderful appetizer of roasted broccoli and cauliflower brought to us by our wonderful server! Just visiting Austin, it makes me sad I may not ever have this pizza again!
We went for the first time and loved it so much...that we went back the next day! Unfortunately, we live 5 to 6 hours south of Austin, so we won’t be back for a while...but I would drive back for some more pizza! Not to mention, our server Cameron was absolutely awesome! This little joint has the best pizza I have ever had! Hands down! If I could leave 10 stars, I would!

The pizza is sooooooooooooooo freaking good, and the staff is awesome! If you want a good pizza and environment this is the place to go.
I called earlier in the day to warn the staff that I was bring five 10 year old girls in for dinner around 6 PM. The manager explained that they don't take reservations but they would "keep an eye out" for my party. We walked through the door and they showed us right to our table. Our server mentioned that the pizzas were taking around 30-35 minutes so I ordered right as we sat down. Everything came out perfectly, the staff was super friendly, and even joined us singing happy birthday. Thank you!

The pizza was exceptional! We had the both Detroit & bar style & both were great. Even my husband loved it & he's a pizza snob since he lived in Italy. He could just never find a pizza that could compare but that was then & this is now. And can't forget the service, it was great. We'll be back again.
This place was absolutely amazing we are from Dallas and I saw a food show that recommended it so while on vacation we gave it a try and we were not disappointed. They have us a free order of bread sticks because it was our first visit and it was just the tip of the iceberg, we ordered 3 different types of their Detroit style pizzas and everyone of them was delicious. This will definitely be a place that we come back to every time we are in Austin, and since this will be my son's first year at UT we'll be back a lot. Thanks Via 313

Love their pizza - if you are a cheesehead like me this is a perfect pizza - I get the Detroit Hawaiian so it’s covered with gooey cheese and crunchy deliciousness on all four corners!
This is tough cause while this isn’t buddy’s or sheilds of detroit it was still good. It was slightly different though in flavor and presentation other then being square deep dish.
Your staff was friendly the place was clean. Food was tasty.
The wait is long... i know buddys half bakes their pizza and i feel like it is thicker. They also bake peperoni under the cheese so they dont burn up.
I didnt feel it was fair to give less then 5 since while its not100% the same it was still good and i would go backeven though your prices are higher, i suppose its cheaper then a plane ticket to the D!
This deep dish pizza was really freaking good, very possibly the best pie I have had in town!
I thought I was just looking for 'better than average' pizza but what I found is truly excellent. Pizza is a rarity with me, so very happy to have found y'all! Think about adding a white pizza.

Visiting from Houston and told my husband I wanted to go to this pizza spot after looking for places to eat for our trip.

Our waitress (younger with dark hair, we can’t remember her name SO SORRY!!!) was so helpful, kind and made sure we had everything we needed and our drinks were topped off.
Then the manager came by to check in and we told her we were visiting from Houston and she let us know a location was being built near Memorial Mall in Houston.
I ordered the Detroit style -Four cheese and my husband ordered Bar Style - Bobo.
When I tell you this is the best Pizza I’ve eaten in 43 years of life …. No exaggeration!
Between the customer service and the AMAZING pizza, this place deserves more than 5 stars!

Caesar salad, meatball appetizer, omnivore pizza and Heavenly Daze beer were all delicious.
Dining room and restrooms were all very clean. Only demerit is…they were blasting some God-awful punk rock music that pretty much soured the relaxed vibe the place had going for it. In the middle of the afternoon. 🥵 Please pass me the Advil…
Change the soundtrack to something less loud and less aggressive and we’ll definitely keep coming back.

(Nov 2023) got pizzas to go and delicious per usual. Enjoyed the herbivore with a side of ranch. Some got the bar style pizza too which also looked excellent.
(July 2022) The pizza was as good as I remembered the first time I had it back in 2017(?)… so good!! the edges are crispy and delicious, fantastic detroit style pizza. Amazing
One of my favorite pizza spots. Love their Detroit style pizzas. My favorite is the ambassador. I enjoy the creaminess of ricotta, the garlic they add on top and the crispy cupped pepperoni. Their dough had a great rise and chew, had a crispy bottom and a nice crispy cheesy edge. The marinara they put on top is fresh tasting and not too acidic. We sat outside on the patio because we had our dogs with us. Christian was our server and he took great care of us. He brought water out for the pups and was very attentive. Great service and great food. Regularly take out of town guests who have never tried Detroit style pizzas.
Excellent pizza! This was my first time trying Detroit-style pizza and it didn’t disappoint. The vegetarian one was amazing. The broccoli side wasn’t the best, it lacked in seasoning.
The sizing/pricing is a bit interesting, you are usually always better off getting a large one and splitting it with another person rather than getting two smaller ones, here the pricing/area is almost identical, so you can get two small ones having the same area of a large one without paying a premium (more or less). Expect to wait for your pizza on a busy day (~35 minutes)

I paid extra for a pepperoni pizza. However, I received a cheese pizza. This normally wouldn't be a problem, but because I paid extra, I can't toss it under the rug.
The cheese pizza was amazing, though. It's truly the best pizza I have ever had!
I will be willing to edit my review if management reaches out and provides a refund of some sort.

Still excellent pizza, both the Detroit style and the thin crust (you can see in prior photo compared to current that the amount/placement of pepperoni has really changed/decreased though). Still free parking in lot across the street or on side street or I think in a garage behind the restaurant. This time the service was much better - attentive and friendly and efficient. It was our server’s last day though - big loss for them because he was so natural and personable.
One year ago:
We had eaten at a different location several years ago, and this one has amazing pizza just like the other one. The staff was friendly but maybe not as attentive as they could have been considering it was pretty empty and they were just hanging around chatting with each other - once our pizza came, nobody came to see if we needed anything so we had to get up and go find our server for what we needed. Bathrooms were clean. Free parking lot across the street.
From a picky eater this was really good it wasnt like normal pizza the fluffy dough and everything else just added together and made it delicious, the service was amazing and it was our first time here and our server got us some on the house pumpkin bread!! So good recommend this place.
Amazing Detroit style pizza! Tried both the omnivore and the classic - I prefer the latter.
The cinnamon bites are quite delicious as well. One order of that is definitely good for at least two people to even out the calories. Great eat - be mindful of the calories!
