Fresa's Chicken Al Carbon - Austin - Photo album

I got a feeling this is going to be one of my favorite spots for a quick fix when I touchdown!! Definitely recommend the Mexican street corn for the win..
Okay, I don't review places often. But the reviews here are criminal. I eat at fresa's at least once a month and I would have it more if I could. I love chicken. And this is some of the best roast chicken I've ever had. If you aren't enjoying this place you're doing it wrong. Buy a quarter, half,
Stopping by Fresa's on 9th and Lamar was an absolute treat. They have a great drive through and the tacos here are nothing short of amazing each one is a masterpiece of flavor. The standout for me was the harmony of textures and seasonings in every bite. Perfect for a casual meal out. Service was qu
I had the la Fresa taco with charo beans and rice as well as some fire roasted salsa and chips. The taco was very flavorful and the meat was nice and juicy. The jalapeno salsa on the taco had lots of flavor. The fire roasted salsa was great as well. The prices were very reasonable as well.
Great food and friendly service! The tacos were great and their ice cream is fantastic!
As silly as this might sound, it was pleasantly refreshing to find an independent chain in Austin with a drive-thru. Sometimes on my work days I just don't have the additional spoons to park and go inside a restaurant. Having to drive through allows me to catch up on emails while I'm waiting my turn
Good service every time. The prices are a little high but the deliciousness makes up for it. You get what you pay for. They have a large menu and you can use the drive thru or they also have a small area where you can eat outdoors. Space is limited and this is also where you pick up your food if in
This is the best takeout I have had in a LONG time. Whole chicken (#1), charro beans, rice, tortillas, roasted sweet potatoes, corn, kale caesar salad. It felt like Thanksgiving or Christmas as I loaded my plate and started eating. Tastes like real home-cooked food.
Really enjoy the rotisserie chicken here and the family style servings. Drive through and counter service are very convenient. All of the sides are wonderful as well.
Healthy, tasty tacos with the right amount of greasiness. Churro's north of the checkpoint tend to be soggy, but the batter inside was raw. The outside was perfectly crispy. Less is more with a churro. Could have been a bad batch made with good intentions, but wet churro. If a rod was run through t
Generally it is very good if not a little pricey. But the last Fresa tacos I had were too salty though. It was the first time I was disappointed by the tacos.
Good tacos. Very good size. I was full with 2. No bathroom that I have noticed. Small sitting area for outside, the bench next to it you can sit an wait and it's a drive through. The menu is in the photos. Good place to grab and go!
My wife and I stopped here since we were in Austin and hadn't eaten here in quite a while. Had 3 different tacos and they were all delicious. Washed it down with agua fresca - hibiscus and lime. Hope to return soon.
The food was great. I was skating up the street and the guy I was talking to recommended Fresa's. Service was speedy and polite. The tacos were great and the picosa was tasty. I had a limón drink that hit the spot. The atmosphere you're just staring at North Lamar and the occasional houseless indiv
