Amazing spot in Austin. We, highly, recommend to anyone coming to town. The servers are attentive and so informative. The food is outstanding, and this is a very “Austin” spot for the more sophisticated audience. Love this new spot!

I came in from Maryland for a wedding and treated myself. The staff were warm and welcoming. The eggs and greens were fantastic and the tea was lovely. I missed his name, but the red-headed server gave some great tips about visiting Austin and facts about the area.

We love the atmosphere, the service and the food -- especially the salads -- at this cozy, casual, but stylish restaurant. And we always see someone we know here. Autumn, our server, was a delight. (The tortilla soup was outstanding.) If you are in the mood for wine, their selection is terrific.

Lovely setting and delicious food and wonderful service! Had the lemon ricotta pancakes and huevos rancheros! Don't forget to take home their fig and oatmeal cookies! The best!

The warm welcome from the staff carried me into a bed-and-breakfast which designs, furniture and every nuance gave you the sense of relaxation. From the moment you walk in and you're greeted they take your bag so that you can sit and enjoy the balcony or one of the many sitting areas inside and out to have a Glass of wine. Each room decorated with its own individual personality welcomes you with comfort and elegance. There is nothing in which I could have added to this experience, my heart and mind are relaxed and overwhelmingly happy.

I can not say how excellent our experience was enough. Everything from the food to the atmosphere hit the mark. I will absolutely comeback! The cocktails were expertly crafted and and were sophisticated enough to be enjoyed by anyone. The food was 9 out of 10 (Beause nothing can be that perfect) with perfect portion sizes and intelligent parings. What might come across as pretentious was rather received as subtle, well balanced, and a touch edgy. If anyone is is debating to come here or not, just stop and do it. The service was comfortable and attentive without being stuffy or overbearing. I actually felt VERY comfortable in the dinning room. All things considered- there is not a reason that should stop anyone from coming here. Oh, and, the pickled strawberry tart was literally one or the single best desserts I've ever had!

Such a beautiful establishment and delicious menu. I had a bloody and Fronks latte…which is a milk made from a local person and it’s very good. Dairy free. Stevie was our waitress and is so delightful. Chop salad is excellent. Steak 🥩 and Eggs 🥚 is perfection. The really great thing drink is the green juice w a little cayenne pepper. 🌶️

Divine little place for the most elegant brunch! A mimosa is a must! The interior is so delicately decorated like you are eating in a fancy farmhouse home. The lemon ricotta pancakes are so good! Service is amazing and you definitely need a reservation. They have some outdoor seating that is dog friendly. This is definitely the place you want to go for unique dishes and a local atmosphere!

I had a great experience here on steak frites night (Monday nights). It's a 3 course meal and if memory derves I went for the chicken liver mouse, NY Strip, and stinky cheese for dessert--all with a house red table wine. There were other options, but this was great. We sat at th we bar and it was almost like eating in a home--nicd vibe and ambiance. Out bartender was great and service seemed to appear from all directiins with smile on everyone. The price tag shouldn't be a shocker next to Jeffries, but honestly I love having multi-course meals like this and when we left, it was less than I expected to spend--I'm looking forward to trying their brunch. Wish I'd taken pics of the food but I just got lost from review stuff eating with my wife. We'll be back.

Everything we had was tasty, from the pancakes to the huevos rancheros. That said, the price point of $20+ for good but not especially memorable food is unfortunate. The space itself is bright and airy while still feeling homey. There are better places to spend too much on brunch in Austin but if you find yourself here there’s plenty on the menu to enjoy.

We had a very enjoyable brunch! Made reservations a couple weeks in advance for a party of 8 and they easily accommodated. We got two round of mimosas and the fresh orange juice was delicious. Our group loved the pastries too. Loved the burrata and melon salad!! There is only street parking around here so we decided to Uber. The patio was shaded and enjoyable and they were attentive in making sure we had what we needed. Very nice environment!

Beautiful place and wonderful brunch. The tables are tiny but the pastry and brunch dishes we had were both wonderful! Shrimp and grits is not a usual brunch item for us but this one is so refreshing and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Would love to visit again when we have time.

We had an amazing dinner here tonight. The service was top notch. The food was delicious. Half price wine bottles just added to it. The ambiance was perfect. Nice heaters for sitting outside. We loved it and would definitely go back!

This is a cute spot for a brunch date. The menu has a full variety of entrees and smaller bites as well as great coffees, teas and cocktails. We had the Josephine House Burger and added a fried egg as well as the breakfast sandwich - both were fantastic. We also had a tea and coffee which was quite nice. The ambiance here is really quaint and the service was good and quick although I was told that service can be very slow at times. Overall the food was excellent and the ambiance was perfect for brunch. I’d recommend coming here!

Had the most lovely brunch here, everything had excellent flavor!! The blueberry banana bread was immaculate and my avocado toast was so super yummy. My boyfriend got the rice bowl and everything was seasoned so perfectly. Definitely would recommend this place. (The portrait mode on my phone made his coffee look insane so I had to share haha)

Made a lunch visit and was surprised at the brunch menu but found several interesting dishes to consider. The service is great and quality of the food good. The pancakes had been recommended which I will need to try on a return visit. The Lox is house made and good but could have been enhanced with a mustard and dill sauce as it was a bit bland.

This place has ruined steak nights for me! I decided to treat myself to an early, nice dinner. I was craving steak and found Josephine House offers a Monday night steak night. It is fantastic. I sat at the bar. It is a 3 course meal with wine throughout. I got the chicken mousse, filet, and chocolate cake. It was Incredible. The mouse was light and paired awesome with the side salad. The filet had a Smokey taste and was cooked to perfection alongside a mountain of fries. The chocolate tart was decadent and beautifully made. The bartender was kind and not overbearing. Fantastic place. The parking kinda sucks though.

Highly recommend their brunch salmon plate. Unexpectedly so amazing. Great patio and great service and pricing! Protip: order a bottle of champagne for your mimosas and split it up. It ends up being more affordable that way!

Food gets 5 stars despite high prices. Every dish was outstanding! Service was 3.5 stars. Ambience inside, which included music so loud we could not hear each other- 1 star. Very disappointed. We’ll never understand why restaurants seem to want to drown out conversations at tables with music.

This was a wonderful experience of fresh selections and simplicity at its finest. Josephine's is a hidden gem in plain sight. Stop by and try the citrus cured lox which are cured in house. Those pancakes are golden with the right amount of fluff and lemon infused.
