Next time I would get double meat for the hamburger. The ratio of bread to meat wasn't appropriate for a single patty.
Corn dog was made fresh.
I got a large Oreo shake. Felt great in the 105° heat.
The best milk shake place in Austin. Fries is normal. Burger is average. However, the shake is so crazy!

Sandy’s is ok, unfortunately they only have outside seating which was odd because the tables were located near the drive thru, don’t know about you but I didn’t want to enjoy my burger with a side of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and Nitrogen oxides.

Got the chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken in the sandwich was a bit small for my preference but still very good. Fries were warm and tasted fresh. Very fast service and short wait time for food. The seating area’s nice although pretty hot in the Austin summer weather. I assume it’d be nicer in
If you are ever in Austin! Try this place out! One of the oldest hamburger spot in Austin! They have a thrusday special too. Hamburger combo for 8 bucks!
Amazing! I wasn’t sure what to expect with this being right next to a Whataburger, but boy was I impressed. The food was cheap. The service was quick. The burger and fries were delicious. I’m not sure how they do it but it was a great experience! Also, the burger was absolutely huge. I wanna say it
Delicious strawberry shake. Lots of parking and shaded tables in back. Outdoor seating only. Walk up order or drive thru.
OMG!!! Had a double burger 🍔 fries 🍟 and a drink 🥤 I believe it was the Sandy's Special it was about $12. Oh and don't forget to try their frozen custard 😋 you will not regret it. Everything was really delicious and we can't wait to go back.

I know I shouldn't but I can't help feeding the birds when I make a trip to Sandys. Food is still great. Prices continue to go up. Austin stays busy but happy that sandys still taste like It did when I was kid.

Stopped in to grab a burger and was very happy with the outcome. Cheap , higher than normal quality fast food burger!
Loved the fries too but the burger shined!
Sandy's is still going strong and still just as good as the first time I ate there over 15 years ago. Highly recommend it.

Best custard I've ever had! I went back twice in 2 days. I also ordered the special which was super cheap and worth it! Way better than Whataburger. Not to mention the water tasted like holy water! Best water I've ever drank. Can't wait to come back here!
The Burgers are incredible. I opted for the double burger with cheese. That's what I will do in the future also. Fries are similar to McDonald's, very good. Malts and shakes are excellent. Service could be more friendly. Atmosphere is not why you come here. :)
