Great Indian buffet in North Austin. Closest Indian buffet to Cedar Park and Leander. Good quality food. Friendly, attentive staff. Your water glass will always be full. One of the few Indian places I have been to that play authentic music. I will be back!

This has been by far my favorite weekday lunch Indian food buffet in North Austin for close to ten years now. The quality of the food is always excellent, they have a good variety of dishes with a lot of vegetarian options, and the atmosphere is great for lunch conversation even when the restaurant is packed. If you go for lunch during the week, aim to arrive before noon to avoid waiting in line to get your food.

Dropped in for lunch on Saturday and the buffet was only option. Selection of standard Indian fare. Flavor was good. Selections of vegetables, chicken, mutton, soups and desserts.

We only had the lunch buffet twice but I will recommend it to anyone who loves Indian (and Bangladesh) food. It was unusual to see beef in the buffet menu, and it was surprisingly good. Almost every item in the buffet menu was good too (for example, tandoori is average, but not bad).

Best Indian buffet I have had in Austin. I have gone there a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Very good food. But North Indian and South Indian cuisines are equally good. When u go here make sure you r really hungry so you can taste everything 😉

Had a great dining experience last night. Food was hot and delicious. I asked for mine extra spicy and it was perfect! Bread basket with assorted naan was a win. Service was great. My water glass never got less than half full. The manager(?) came by the table to make sure we were satisfied. Big portions and very reasonable pricing. Can't wait to go back.

Food at Bombay Bistro is really delicious. The quality is very consistent. I have been going to the restaurant for 10 years and I have never been disappointed with their quality. I recently had Bombay Bistro cater Indian food for my breakfast / brunch wedding and the quality was excellent. Ravi (manager) did a great job coordinating and getting the food delivered on time! Weekend brunch is a treat with Afghani chicken and Chat!

Update: The last few times I've gone, the server asks what degree of "spicy" I want and I never say the right thing. Go back to before when no one asked and you guys just knew! My favorite Indian food restaurant that closely resembles my time in India! Very authentic dishes. And I've tried nearly the entire menu and have had a great experience every single time! Definitely recommend!

We love this place. I don't have a ton of experience with Indian cuisine but I greatly enjoy it for the price. Delicious garlic naan, great samosas, and the Indian tea is incredible. It is like drinking the earth in a cup. We tend to get out of here for a bit under 40 dollars before tip for 2 entrees, an app, and 2 Indian teas. Love this place! Service is pretty good too. Food can take a bit longer than expected sometimes but it isn't enough to take a star away.

Bombay Bistro is our favorite restaurant in Austin! The food is consistantly great, time after time. Also, we like that they have a variation in the food on the buffet each time we come back. The staff is always friendly and helpful to us. Great price for the buffet! We also like that they don't charge us for our toddlers to eat at the buffet, making it affordable for families. Best flavor in town!

Bombay Bistro is a must visit each time I am in Austin. The lunch buffet has lot of variety, 3+ vegetarian options and 3+ non-veg options. Their food has authentic north Indian flavor. The wait staff is courteous and we have had good experiences for the past 7+ times I have visited BB over the last 2.5 years. The best part is the taste and flavours have been consistent. The dinner Ala carte has loads of options and price is also moderate.

As others have said, the service can be iffy, and the staff doesn't speak much English. I don't know how authentic the food is, but it's always been SUPER tasty. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and spices. Also, for sure my favorite naan in Austin. They do buffet for lunch, which is tasty, good value, and they usually have a decent variety, but you can't necessarily get exactly what you want. For that, we usually order from Bite Squad for dinner. I definitely recommend trying it out, but maybe try the takeout first.

Some mighty tasty Indian food buffet for lunch. Exactly what you'd expect. If you've never had Indian food definitely give it a shot. There is plenty of options to choose from from non spicy to spicy. I never thought I'd like this type of food and am super happy I gave it a try long ago.
