Delicious food for a reasonable price.
The guy who made my burger was so nice:)
I got a quarter pound cheese burger for 8.50
This lunch spot is a hidden gem in the basement of the capital building with a good quick buffet. Excellent spot downtown when every other place is booked up for lunch. Fair prices.
A solid dining experience each visit.
The food here is solid, and relatively varied.
Specifically, there is a two-soup soup bar, a salad bar, a burger/sandwich area, coffee bar and a daily chef's special area.
The prices are always low, and the service is friendly and prompt.
A great place to eat
Cheap prices and the food is acceptable. The fried fish is probably the best for lunch, and the breakfast tacos are a great value in the morning. They sell canned soda for something close to $1. After 2pm there are no cooked meals, only the packaged food (like ham sandwiches, chips, ice cream bar
The service and people there are truly some of the best. They are so friendly. Tried the beyond burger for the first time as it is suppose to be a near exact vegan burger. It was okay but caused a little discomfort after.
The cooks and staff are so nice. There are plenty of wonderful food and drink choices.
Major tourist attraction. But I must say, lunch was good. I had the vegan dish and the fried kale was yummy. Actually the best I ever had. To bad I didn't take pictures though. Bummer.
Tasty food and quick service all the time. Patrick, who works the grill, is always up beat and delivers great customer service. No white table clothes, no wait-staff, but a cool setting that you should try.
I had an epic lunch here. I had the vegan burger with fries combo. Delicious. The burger and fries portion were big. Plus, they had fresh lemon to go with the iced tea. This was awesome.
It's a cafeteria, but it's nicely decorated and serves great food.
The beyond burger was a nice surprise. A complete vegan burger for much less than other places. The veg soup was rather bland. But great option to eat if you're around the Capitol. We avoided the price gouging food vendors at the bookfest and at the Capitol grill.
