Amazing food! Great service! Definitely worth every penny! I’ll be coming back many more times. I suggest doing yourself a favor and treating yourself! An Austin must do!

Perfectly prepared steak with a lovely salad and crunchy fries. The non alcoholic drinks were good, and the dessert was perfectly fine. Our waiter was wonderful. This will probably be my go to when I am craving a good quality steak without the $$$ price tag.

I can't say enough good things. As you walk in the aroma is heavenly. The service, the food, the cocktails are a cut above. There is a small grocer, meat market component. Fresh produce, charcuterie, etc.

A small restaurant and bar off to one side of the butcher shop. Nicely done. Great service and well paired wines with our meal. Everyone enjoyed their food and charcuterie.

Best burger I’ve had in Austin. One thing that can be improved is that I ordered a medium one, and it came out more like medium-well. Still delicious.

The food was great, and the service was pretty fantastic. I got their steak frites with the wagyu club - which was excellent with their tallow fries—really enjoyed the chimichurri. California Dreaming - mocktail was excellent; I could have had three of these easily.

You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu here! All their food is so well prepared and simply immaculate. The butcher burger is hands down the best burger in Austin! The service is exceptional, everything here is clearly done with the customer in mind and with so much care. Even the ketchup is done in house! 10/10 recommended ☺️

I ordered our thanksgiving turkey here and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was relatively lean and sourced from a traceable farm.

Chonk think Salt & Time great. Chonk want more pasta in bowl for price and taste reasons. Chonk have heavenly experience while eating burger. Best burger Chonk ever had. Chonk dream of Salt + Time burger days later. Chonk no like loud, echo room. Hard for Chonk to hear. Get burger and beer for Chonk.

I come in regularly and just about the entire staff is rude and seeming unaware they are in the service industry. I find it pretty interesting considering they give themselves an extra 15% on all bills (Which written all over, they make very clear is not considered your tip). -updated review: The staff must have hit a quick Chick-fil-A crash course. They’ve been very nicer to me as of late. Much appreciated🙌🏼 Ps: the foods always been very solid.

Had the steak salad and I was in heaven eating it. The quality of the hangar steak plus being cooked to perfection was a delight. Also had a few old fashions which didn’t disappoint. Staff was great and ambiance was in point. Will be returning soon.

Great local butcher but the meat quality looks dry. Also they have some Veggie, sausage, and some sauces.

This was my second visit to S&T, being the previous roughly 5 years ago. The first visit back then was really great, but this second one was just good. They'd ran out of a couple of the cuts we were interested in, and the steaks that arrived, although cooked to medium-rare perfection, were barely warm. That was disappointing. The potato sides were perfect, as well as the bread and spread. I guess perhaps I just had a higher expectation than I should. I did not ask to return/reheat the steaks as I was afraid it would overcook them. I might come back when in Austin, which might take a few years.

The adobo steak salad is the best salad in Austin. The adobo rub on the steak is the right amount to be flavorful without burning, with I think fleur de sel on top for intensity. The salad is also an adobo salad, which because adobo is mellow means the salad fits the steak. The confit tomatoes are an improvement on regular cherry tomatoes in that they have the burst taste without actually bursting all over your shirt. The pickled pinto beans were hearty without being chalky, and thus a massive improvement on pinto beans. As a result the salad is not just a lettuce wrappaer around the steak but rather an actual partner with the steak. Brilliant. The bread is from Sour Duck and the marrow butter is dangerously good. Same for the cocktails. I recommend the Mommy Dearest for brunch or lunch as a heat buster. I recommend the Yo Mama all the time due to being gorgeous and delicious. Those are two adjectives that need to go together more often. Thank you Salt & Time for this pit stop lunch being one of those times where the two adjectives aptly go together.

“Oh, yummy!” he said as he took his first bite of bread and bone marrow butter. Salt & Time is amazing as a restaurant. The burger has been called “the best in Austin” by a hungry pregnant lady with a discerning palate. I agree and highly recommend trying it
