Craft Pride is a great bar on Rainey Street that offers exclusively Texas beers across its 54 taps and 2 firkins (cask kegs). Almost every style of beer imaginable is on the taps, and there are lots of interesting seasonal and one-off brews for those looking for something a bit different.
Great atmosphere and an impressive selection. Bartender knowledge makes this a great place to hit up. So many local brews you get a wide variety to try.
Such a fun gem on Rainey. They have any craft beer imaginable. Service is great and nice outdoor seating. They have a Detroit style pizza truck outside, Via 313. If you're looking for a chill place with great beer selection on Rainey, try Craft Pride.
Great pizza out back!. I love the live music and neighborhood feel of Crafy Pride. The pizza was delish - if only they sold it by the slice!
The first stop was called Craft Pride . It’s very casual – they only serve food if you count going to the back patio and going to the pizza truck there as “food service”. You may see a little sandwich board with a beer joke out on what barely qualifies as the sidewalk of Rainey street, so don’t bother wearing heels on this street. The main attraction here is the beer chalkboard above the bar, which boast all and only local beers. You go up to the bar to order, and you can feel free to ask them for recommendations which may result in getting a little taste or two before investing in a full glass.
Fantastic spot - best beer place in Austin. Great indoor and outdoor seating that fits plenty of people. The out door seating area also has an awesome pizza food truck (that's there all the time) with incredible pizza. They offer half pours for beer, and there's a ton of local options too if you're visiting from out of town. It's right there on Rainey St. so its a great first stop and there's a ton more to do right around there. Loved this place!
At the end / beginning of Rainey st.
This brewery is wonderful, with huge selection of great quality craft beers. Busy, but easy to get a beer or flight. Disappointed in the label list for flights (it was receipt paper that I wrote on) really recommend this place as a good spot for beer.
Great place for craft beer drinkers. Their selection is amazing. They have a outdoor patio and indoor seating. They have a different food truck on certain days. You can build your on six pack from the bottle side of the venue. I highly recommend this place for people looking to try beers out of their comfort zone. I look forward to coming back cheers 🍺🍺
Craft Pride is awesome. One of the longest running Rainey Street bars. It features only Texas beers. The selection is solid from all across the state. Inside has a super cool vibe and generally a band playing in the back as well as 313 pizza which is absolutely amazing.
You can’t go wrong with stopping by Craft Pride for a few beers at the very least.
I give this 5-stars because of the atmosphere, beer selection, live music, and food. Rainey street is a great place to hang out to experience local Austin. The beer selection was impressive. As someone who is a member of two craft beer clubs, I liked the beer. The live music area was big enough to fit a full band, but small enough that the crowd can be seated close to the band. The food cannot be understated. The Detroit style pizza was so good, that my wife and I got seconds.
Great craft beers and friendly service. You won't find your typical over the counter brews here, but trust you'll waiter or waitress and they'll serve you something your taste buds will like. Oh and the pizza. Deep dish Detroit style, never heard of it, but it was definitely the best deep dish I've ever had. We had the omnivore and I wanted it another it was so good. The pizza is served from a food trailer, which appears to be separate from Craft Pride. If I think the name or find it I'll add it later. The place has a nice vibe to it. It will definitely be added to our list of favorite ATX restaurants.
A lot of beer to choose from! They rotate their taps frequently so there's something new all the time. Because they pride themselves on only pouring beer from Texas, the beer never travels far, hence, it's always amazingly fresh, and thus always tastes great! The atmosphere is very chill and so is the staff.
Great selection of beers and friendly staff!
Craft Pride is a combination of a draft bar and bottle shop with a large patio and indoor seating area.
Tried a beer from both sides and enjoyed them quite a bit. A selection of IPA, Blonde Ales, Sours and others gives everyone something to like.
Live music on the back patio rounded out a great environment to have a beer. Only complaint was the small indoor tables but I assume that's to accommodate the busier weekend crowds.
