Great happy hour drinks and meals 😋 The day was perfect to sit out on their large outside patio area. The service was great, and the food was TASTY fresh. We ordered $3 tacos and nachos. I do recommend
Evan was SO great!!! Made an already fun place even better. We wish we lived in Austin so we could come back. He hyped us up for the bring it on shot and was kind and hospitable the whole time. 10/10 he needs a raise
This bar is beyond words knock out the park...in customer service and quality. It's super chill and the open roof is a vibe. I will recommend the holiday drinks and the brisket tacos. I will also be making this my stop when I'm in town.

What stood out the most was her attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience. She was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always refilled and our table was well attended. Natalie's knowledge of the menu was impressive; she provided excellent recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly.
Moreover, her timing was impeccable. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived at just the right intervals. Natalie's ability to anticipate our needs without us having to ask was remarkable. She was also incredibly accommodating to our special requests, going above and beyond to ensure everything was to our liking.
But what truly made Natalie exceptional was her friendly demeanor and her ability to connect with us on a personal level. She shared insightful details about the dishes and the restaurant, making our dining experience feel unique and tailored.

Such a fun little indoor and outdoor patio bar. There’s a few couches and a few tables on the inside as well as a pool table indoors. The outdoor part has tons of picnic tables and patio furniture conversation sets. There’s jenga and corn hole available to play outside. Overall the drinks were good and the service was pretty quick and people were always running around to check on us. Very nice staff and overall great experience!
Our first stop after checking into our hotel. We are here from FL for the local Chive charity event. Awesome atmosphere and vibe. We just had drinks no food. Drinks were flavorful

Really nice atmosphere with shade and fans. Food is good and lots of drink options with a good happy hour. They have a fun activity where you take a shot out of a glass made of ice then throw it at a bell 🔔
Very nice place in Austin. A great place to relax and play sone games. Drinks are great. We had a great time there.
I ordered the Thai which is the talles drink. Was a bit spicy for me but very good.
Must try the Bad Life Choices :) its very good that’s the one with the lime on top. Enjoy!
Downtown Austin, on Congress and 7th. 1st time, we chose it because it was pet friendly and rooftop type place. Our waitress was great. Music was great. Food not so great. Not many menu items. The Mexican Shrimp Cocktail was not at all what was on the menu description. It was small pieces of shrimp on a bed of lettuce, tomato and a nickel size, what we think was pico. We mentioned to the guy (whom by the way, looked to be a manager) who brought some of our food out, that we ordered a Mexican Shrimp Cocktail, he looked at it and said that's what it was. Ok but it didn't have Cucumber, Radish, Cilantro or Avocado.
Wonderful environment with great food. Also feels off the street with how the place is designed, but it is close to everything on Congress. Great service from Natalie as well. ❤️

Been to Austin before, but it’s my first time at Upstairs at Caroline. I’ve been missing out.
Great atmosphere, plenty of space, big windows for a nice downtown view, variety of seating options, buzzing with locals and business travelers. Good music.
Solid happy hour options and prices. Tacos are great and filled full.
At the bar, look for Ryan H to serve up a good experience.
We held my daughter’s graduation party here. Making reservations was not simple. We responded to manager with our date request and did not hear back for some time. When we did hear back, he sent us a new menu with raised prices. We did the private buffet. Since it was lunchtime, we did not meet our minimum- which was very high. The automatic gratuity was also extremely high.
That being said, the food was delicious, the ambience was great and everyone had a good time. We lucked out and a cool front came through the night before so the weather was perfect for an outdoor brunch. We were very happy with how everything turned out.
The drinks here are 10/10! Trust me, try the blood orange marg. Ulyl took such great care of us, will definitely come back with friends!

I loved upstairs! We came here for some drinks, and I was nothing but impressed! Especially with Evan. He was very attentive, and always made sure we were comfortable & taken care of. Will be coming back!
