Houndstooth Coffee - Austin - Photo album

I’ve been searching for the best coffee shops in Austin and this is my favorite espresso I’ve had so far. Perfect balance and pull of the espresso. The staff were friendly and took care with each order and cup of coffee they made. Small seating selection but enough parking to grab a coffee to go.
Second time coming in for an espresso, this time a quad shot! Service and friendliness has been excellent both times coming in. Espresso is tasty and well made, got the single origin beans both times versus the house blend. Will have to come back to try the house blend espresso. Cool looking espres
Very trendy coffee shop. The coffee has a unique flavor that has a nice bite to it but not bitter like some shops. There are not a lot of flavor options here so those who like their grande 5 pumps vanilla chai with two sugars and a swirl of caramel should avoid this place. My only complaint was all
Great coffee, kind staff. They generally have 2-3 coffee options which is great if you aren't looking just for an espresso based drink, tho if you are they also have multiple espressos available as well.
In a city of great coffee shops, it’s hard to stand out. I order the same oat milk latte everywhere I go. But this one took me straight to Flavortown. The staff is so friendly, and the service was so fast. The coffee tastes good. There are limited power outlets and primarily for high tables if you are here to work or study. So it would be better to bring a charged laptop.
Lovely spot with artisan coffee. Baristas are well trained and professional. Sometimes it's hard to find a seat because it's such a popular spot and such a small space. For those interested, alternative milk options are almond and soy. No oat milk or coconut milk :(
My wife and I ventured over to this establishment after a wonderful little hike in nearby Mayfield Park. We decided to get some iced teas, and rehydrate after the hike. I got the Citrus Green Tea, and my wife ordered the Herbal Berry Tea. Both were delicious, and we felt great afterwards. The servic
TLDR: coffee that’s both very good and very expensive. I had an iced latte. It was among some of the best I’ve had in Austin very impressed overall with it. However, after tax & tip, it was over $7, which is a *lot* to be spending on a cup of coffee. I was very happy with what I got, but doubt I’d
The original Houndstooth and still in the top 10% of coffee shops I've ever been to. Sometimes it gets busy, but the staff are professional and always manage to stay ahead of things. Great spot 10/10
Found this little coffee shop one day while visiting the hospital. It was not very crowded, and the atmosphere inside was pleasant. We were served by a very cheerful and knowledgeable barista who was very patient with me since I was not familiar with their drink selection. He did such a wonderful jo
