Best tacos ever and I have eaten alot of tacos in my day, they are consistent and have a wide any changing menu, I highly recommend them.
It may not be Mexican food, but they're really great tacos! I almost always order a Crossroads (delicious beef brisket) and something new to try. This visit I had the Mr. Orange, a beautifully prepared piece of blackened salmon with a corn and black bean salsa. Absolutely wonderful! Next time I think I'll try a Dirty Sanchez and the Green Chili Pork.
It was my first visit. I loved loved loved my tacos. I will be returning. I hope ya'll have taco Tuesday deals. LOL
The best tacos I've ever had. Loved their special chicken and waffle taco!
Excellent gourmet tacos. They are so big you can't eat more than 2 which is too bad since they are so good I would love to try more.
Yum yum yum! Monk special and Migas in for breakfast are my favorite.
Awesome, as always!! AND there was hardly a line and food came out super fast!
Just great food myself i lobe the baja shrimp sooooo good
Love the brushfire I think it's called!!! The salsa is so good too!!! My fav lil spot to stop
YUM... YUM... YUM... most definitely have to try the Democrat and the Baja Shrimp was excellent too... Every staff member were super friendly and helpful!!!
I love every one of these tacos except I won't even try a fish or shrimp one... To me that does not belong in a taco. But I truly love Torchy's & my husband is on his way to get me a new one I haven't tried. The Miga,s & add bacon to it w/ a hotter sauce than Tomatillo. Mmmmm!
Damn good, for damn sure!! Love coming here and love love love bringing my out of town guests to experience torchys. Thanks for feeding us such amazing tacos.
This place was packed. The line moved quickly. My favorite things on the menu are "The Trailer Park" and "The Hillbilly Queso". I also gave the fajita tacos a try. Delicious.
Have never been let down by Torchy’s. Had my first experience a month ago and YES!!! This is the place! Always clean always fun and ALWAYS GREAT FOOD!!!!! I will continue to visit this establishment for the foreseeable future.
Visiting from Cali and pleasantly surprised to find good Nexican food out here. I just Google tacos near me and based on ratings decided to try. I love that they offer vegetarian options. The avocado taco was delish. But also enjoyed the grilled chicken. Comes with a side of some sort of marinated bacon bits which tasted yummy too. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
Great place for a quick bite to eat that is no the regular nationwide fast food chains. It has a little bit of everything for everyone.
Well, it doesn’t matter which tacos you select from the menu, they are all good. Made to order with fresh ingredients and served quickly. The staff at this location are exceptionally friendly and efficient. That’s one of the reasons I keep coming back. Hey Torchy’s — y’all are great.
Torchy’s are very good tacos. Great guac and excellent queso to go along with the tacos. My favorite tacos are the Chile Verde taco and the Democrat
Torchys has become a tradition each time we come to Austin from the borderland (i.e. read authentic tacos). I love the diversity of flavors and, I know this is weird, but the colors in the tacos. Everything I've tried on the menu has been delicious and we enjoyed the open patio.
Oh Torchy's, another beloved review for you. I am going to make it my mission to go to each location! The things we do in the name of love. Today I stopped at the location in Austin off 620.
I was sad to see there was not a bar at this location, pretty straight forward with decor, not as decorative or elaborate as the others. Still looks good though. 👏 I sat on the patio with nice views of trees and a cooling breeze.
I ordered the taco of the month, Kingpin.
Half an order of queso, half order of Mexican street 🌽 and 2 beef tacos to go for my pops.
The queso came out quickly and was as delicious as always. Followed not long after by the rest of the order. The kingpin overflowed with delicious goodness, I had to scoop up the rest with chips which was tasty as well. SO, SO, good. 🌮
My tummy is oh so happy. Thanks Torchy's!
We were hungry so we pulled in for a fast bite.
The food had a decent taste and the service was decent but once again we were greeted loud kids, disengaged parents and a mess needing cleaned.
We witnessed numerous people come in and attempt to clean the table and seats they chose just to have a somewhat feeling about the situation.
We witnessed a family Mother, Father, four children change their order to go instead of in house for that reason.
Huge Torchys eater here as in like 10 times a month lol I always get corn tortilla tacos.
Today I did the same and to my surprise the corn tortillas were HOMEMADE!!
Omygosh took my tacos to another level!!
If I loved it before surely now it’s an OBSESSION!!!! You must try!!!
Welcome to Austin! This is one of those places that people mention when they hear you’re new. No, don’t explain the toll roads—just tell the new guy to go to Torchy’s. And yeah, it was worth it. The chips and queso will give you enough calories to survive for a week but don’t stop there. Just order whatever the gal at the counter tells you to get. I honk I ate some trailer trash and I don’t regret it one bit. Delicious!
Three words. Damn. Friken. Good. They really live up to their slogan! I went at lunch time so the lines were quite long. After we got through the line, there were no seats inside. The tacos are amazing to eat though! The sodas are even better. The sodas are made from cane sugar instead of corn syrup. They have a variety of flavors they you have to try before picking which one to drink. I usually mix a little bit of vanilla into Mexican coke (recommend trying)Happy eating!
The best tacos I’ve ever had. Amazing selection of tacos (from breakfast to supper) and an awesome assortment of hot sauces to choose from. I got The Monk breakfast taco and the Democrat. The flavors and contents of each were awesome, and they came out on nice, fresh tortillas. I would highly recommend getting an assortment of the hot sauces and trying some of each. They have a variety of spicy heat levels and range of base flavors.
Torchy's Tacos is a culinary adventure wrapped in a tortilla! From their inventive flavor combinations to the friendly staff, it's a taco haven worth savoring
Wow! Lots of flavor and my tacos were tasty! This was what they recommended for someone who doesn't like spicy food and it was pretty hot! Ordering it "trashy" helps because it adds queso.
My go-to Torchy’s location. It’s not the closest one to me, but if they still serve delicious tacos like they used to (unlike many other locations). I’ll keep coming back here as long as they keep doing it right!
Torchy’s Tacos has some of the best tacos in Austin. So many different flavors and spice levels, Everything we have tried has been consistently very tasty and delicious.
I have a family of 5 and we got the family pack, chips/queso and adult drinks/Margaritas to go, it was hands down the best. The manager Byron Densman made sure we had everything we needed, plus more. A big thank you from my family to your Torchy's family!!!! Y'all made out night
