Excellent pho in town with top-notch broth and Texan huge portion, 1 of my favorite restaurants, and comfort food in Austin and as good as 15 years ago when I first tried.
Delicious PHO, perfect for a rainy day!!! Came on a weekday night and there were plenty of seats. I ordered the pho with everything in it and added meatballs to it. I also got the spring rolls and peanut dipping sauce. It hit the spot.
Had lunch at Pho Saigon Noodle house. We walked in and there was plenty of seating available. As we walked in we were greeted by our waiter. She directed us to our table and gave us menus. We ordered spring rolls, the rice with pork chop and egg noodle soup with chicken. The rice pork chop was a good portion and taste good, specifically the nuoc mam was on point. The chicken noodle soup had plenty of chicken and had thin noodles. Over all great flavors.
I’ve been coming here for years for solid bowls of pho, but this time I opted for their pork chop on rice. So glad I did it because it was such a great piece of grilled meat. Tender with a slight bit of char on the edges. Just don’t cut the meat too close to the bone because I got some bone shards in several bites. It still tasted amazing though.

I enjoy eating pho. This place is calm and good! The staff is very attentive and the Vietnamese coffee is delicious!
Price is reasonable, food is good and potions are big!!!! I picked the Large beef noodle and can’t finish it 🤣 Please just be happy with Regular size. The restaurant is clean !!! Will definitely come back!!
One of the best tasting Pho in Austin area. Super fast service, food comes out hot and fast. Perfect spot for a quick lunch. I would drive 15 mins here over my lunch break at work.
Update: 08/2023
Still the best Pho in town, hands down. However, there was something that I noticed during this visit... the "Suggested TIP" displayed on the screen at checkout is calculated with the "after Tax" amount.. this is a huge RED FLAG....
A good “never fails to satisfy” Vietnamese restaurant in the Chinatown Center. The food is not the highest quality for the price, but nonetheless is delicious and the portions are good. I always get the rice plates here, but the Pho is good as well. They offer the classic variety of options of dishes as well as appetizers, desserts, and drinks. The nicest part about this place is that there is a lot of seating so big parties can fit here. The indoor ambiance is nice and wait staff is accommodating. I recommend it as a good safe choice spot when looking for good lunch or dinner places.
Pretty good pho restaurant in the Chinatown Center. I actually ordered the pork and shrimp vermicelli and was super satisfied with my meal. My partner had the oxtail and meatball pho. It was pretty good and had a generous portion, but I would've rated 4-star if I'd gotten pho. I ate every bite of the vermicelli and would order it again before getting pho. Super fresh veggies and the pork was tender, perfectly cooked, and seasoned well. Quick and informal service, standard for a busy and casual spot.
My favorite Pho is Austin! This place is always fresh and fast with my order. Ive tried many items but Brisket Pho is my favorite and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. I also like to get a hot tea. This shopping center has a lot of favorite too so that’s a plus.
Food was ok to me but my son loved it. He thinks it's the best in Austin that he tries- a freshly minted UT student.
Good price with big portions, lots of brisket, lots of mint (instead of just a couple branches.)
This is the only place that a special bowl of pho does not include beef ball that I know of. So 3.5 stars instead of 4.
The large pho was huge and well worth the extra dollar! Big enough for two for take out in my opinion. Food was ready quickly and tasted fresh. The chicken pho tastes like the best combo of grandma's chicken soup with asian flavors, the chicken is roasted and pulled which added a lot flavor not like those typical longbflat pieces. The broth is on the darker side but had good flavor. I added both sauces included which added a lot to the flavor. The chicken spring rolls were different and very good. I've never gotten such a great to go container for noodles this was great!
Some of the best Pho I've had in austin. Staff are always friendly. Have never had a bad meal here or a bad experience.
I came to this place based off the reviews I read when I was looking for a place who sold Pho. Overall, the food is pretty good but the customer service SUCKS!!!
I got seated within a few minutes. Things does stay packed. I came at 1 and all the tables were taken. After getting seated, I waited at least 10 minutes before I got up to see if someone could take my order since I am on my lunch break. Although it was packed, most of the people had their food already other than the people recently seated. Their order wasn't taken any sooner than mine was either. Also, when someone brings something to your table and you say "thank you" they don't speak back to you. I'm not used to people being so rude!
The food came out quickly. I ordered the Vietnamese Egg Roll and a dark meat chicken Pho. It was good food overall.
Great Pho Destination. Large bowl is definitely the way to go. Front entrance setup to be seated and where pick up orders are being picked up and people are paying is chaos. There needs to be a better system especially with covid. Service was quick, fast, prompt. Had to track down someone to get a pair of chopsticks. I would definitely stop by again though.
Absolutely love everything on the menu here. The soups are my absolute favorite. The service is so fast and the staff is very attentive even during busy times. The food is always delicious and the ingredients are always fresh. I've tried pho from so many different places in Texas and honestly this restaurant has and continues to be my favorite. Pho Saigon is definitely my go to Pho place. I’ve tried several of the soups and have loved every single one. The appetizers are delicious, and I always get either the fresh or the fried spring rolls. Now when it’s too hot for soup I go with a vermicelli bowl with fried egg roll. I’ve tried them all and my favorite is the charbroiled lemon grass beef. These bowls are so fresh and very filling. Pho Saigon is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Austin, maybe even Texas.
This was highly recommended by several friends and I’ve visited multiple times since. Their egg rolls are delicious, and the #11 is always great. The food comes out super quickly, and is surrounded by other good shops. Most of the menu is various soups, so I wouldn’t recommend unless that is what you are wanting. They have good COVID-19 precautions in place and separate the parties as much as possible.
