The food was reasonably priced and very yummy. Our first night in Pola was our server and she was unbelievably helpful and provided great service! Her service alone earned the 5 stars. The rest of the staff was whatever.

Went for Happy Hour last night, and the wait staff was some of the best attentive, kindest people. From the front door host to our waiter! And all the other wait persons, that not only provided a bowl of water for the two dogs we had with us, but then made sure to add ice later for them to have cool water to drink. That was the exceptional service of the pets; we humans were equally attended to. Great service like this is rare it seems. Thank you all very much!

Good little spot to enjoy some food and drinks, especially during your stay at the hotel. The food is tasty and fresh. Not to pricey. They have happy hour specials. Service was ok, they usually only have one server working, so service does suffer. Not to many smiles or much of a greet. I enjoyed the atmosphere, lots of TV's & a couple of dartboards.

Great place to grab a Texas brewed beer or top shelf Whiskey pour! The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was a very hometown feel! Staying at the hotel made this a very convenient place to eat and drink! One of the best old fashioned I've had!

Tried this place because we had a coupon for a free appetizer as a perk with staying in the adjoining hotel. We chose the chicken nachos as our appetizer. They have friendly staff and a very large menu.

Tea was old tasting. Food was good, and serving sizes was more than enough for one person. We did have to wait a bit for food to cook. It wasn't overly crowded.

We visited on a slow Sunday afternoon. Great service and everyone enjoyed their food. We can recommend their wraps, wicked wings, and chili.

Great food tht chicken fried steak is really good and the mashed potatoes are too. My wife had a burger it was cooked perfectly and all the cooks cook every food by temp. When you come there make sure Tim or Josh is cooking cause baby it is so good. Order anything

Try the fried mushrooms, quesadilla, and chicken fajita salad. The servers were really very friendly and atmosphere is nice and easy. It's attached to the Austin City Hotel which in itself is SO GOOD.

I've lived in Austin nearly a decade and I'm just now eating here but I'm definitely coming back! The atmosphere is homey and the food is delicious! I ordered a sandwich with fries...to which I was met with 3+choices for what EXACT type of fry I wanted. I ended up picking the rosemary garlic fries and I was not disappointed! I also highly recommend asking if they have any dipping sauces. Our server suggested a dill herb sauce that paired perfectly with the fries.

Whether you are looking for a cool environment, awesome food, yummy drinks, or just a stool at the bar, Opals has got you covered. They have a beyond friendly staff, bartenders who are fun to talk to, and who can make pretty much any drink and food that can satisfy even the pickiest eater or someone looking for a low carb option. The environment is music themed, has indoor and patio seating and inexpensive beer specials on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and now offers a brunch on Sunday that can't be beat. Opals is also attached to a pretty cool hotel with great customer service. Whether you've had too much to drink and want to walk back to your room or are a patron of the hotel and looking for a convenient place for dinner and drinks Opals is the place to be.

Something about this being attached to a hotel made this a less pleasant experience than the other Opal Divine's locations I've been to and frequented. The food has been very consistent between locations. The Oltorf location was fairly empty on Sunday at 7pm so not sure what's up but the patio is still dog friendly which I love and they have this awesome dog menu for the pups. I usually get the Elvis Pupsley but they were out tonight so I got the puppy slider which is just a tiny ball of cooked hamburger but it's cheap and fun to give the dogs. You can get bigger patties for bigger dogs too. Check out the menu attached.
