Having just returned from BA three weeks ago, I really wanted to just go back to those days, so we decided to try out Buenos Aires Cafe; we were blown away. The food and drinks were a heavenly delight (can one taste love? because I think I did...lol). The staffs were so kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful; you will not regret any recommendations from them. The Milonga is the cherry on the top. This is now my #1 restaurant in Austin.

I’ve been living in Argentina for 2 years and I still cannot find a better tasting Empanada, Lomito Beef or Chimichurri than Buenos Aires Cafe. Also, the Pastel De Papas (Shepherds Pie) is a must! And if you know what’s good for you, you’ll take a Chimichurri para llevar (to-go). Its HEAVEN!!!! Ask for Justin....he’s the best!

Amazing food. I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu. Your skewers had the best beef I've ever had.

Just had an amazing dinner here this evening - amazing food - bartender Lucas is awesome. Very local genuine feel to it and the food was obviously fresh. Had a few of the signature cocktails - Lucas is a true craftsman.

World class gourmet in a relaxed but tasteful Austin environment at reasonable prices. Have been back several times and always try to bring somebody new so I can watch them discover this gastronomic gem.

Great location. Good for private events. Nice ambiance. Solid 2nd or 3rd date spot. Somewhere with dim lighting and Argentinian wine. The empanadas with wine or the pastries with the espresso are what makes this place.

My coworkers and I came to Buenos Aires Cafe for a weekday lunch. It was a big hit! The four of us split the Argentinian Wheel Sausage. The flavor of the sausage was great. The chimichurri served with the bread was phenomenal. It really had a strong but tasty flavor. I had the spicy beef and lentil stew empanadas, both of which were delicious. The crust was flaky and buttery. The filling had a good level of spice and was perfectly warm. My coworkers had the milanesa sandwich, bratwurst sandwich, and soup of the day. They all enjoyed their meals as well. I look forward to returning to BAC for dinner soon.

Great atmosphere, The food is delicious, prices are fairly reasonable with the size of the dish. The place is very traditional to Argentinian style, “you can judge by the restrooms deco” 🤭 It really made me feel nostalgic, it was as having dinner at grandmas house, the background music, the vibes… I definitely going to come back. Finding parking was a little hard but it’s just because it’s a busy area. I totally recommend this place..,

I liked the location; very Austiny vibe and decent people watching. The service was great. Everything I tried was tasty. The bread service and olive oil was nice. I tried the Churrasquito and the Morcilla. The Morcilla ended up being my fav due to the creamy texture and the rich/bold flavors. It was served with crusty bread which was also delish. The sirloin could've been a little more tender but it was properly seasoned/cooked and the mash potatoes and churri sauce it came with were excellent. I'd like to try some of their other dishes and seafood options next time.

We enjoy grabbing dinner and desert here as a family. There’s plenty of options on the menu, from pasta, to salads, to empanadas, and pork loin…etc. The desert case is a favorite for the adults and kids, as well. The space is cozy and the service, while sometimes slow, is good overall.

The food here is amazing. I personally tried their empanadas & they taste just like home. Fresh, full of flavor, and unique with their own spices and complements. The chimichurri is out of this world. I finished it all off with an alfajor of maizena… it was so homemade, soft, & had the right amount of sweetness. I would come back here any day! The service was also top notch, very friendly people :)

The food was delicious. I’ve been here a couple of times and their food is pretty tasty. Their pastel de papas is delicious and filling, the lomito is very tender and juicy, empanadas and dessert are great too. The one thing that needs improvement is their service. A simple “we will be right with you” can make a difference from being ignored as you wait to be seated. You might need to flag the waiter if you need something even when it’s not busy.

What an incredible meal from start to finish. The flavor and attention to detail on everything we ordered was top notch. It was easily the best Latin food I've had since leaving Miami. Wish I lived closer so I could come back weekly.

Absolutely love this place, I've never had a bad meal here. Empanadas: Pollo - 4/5 Verdura - 5/5 Cebolla & Queso - 5/5 Appetizers: Crudo - 5/5 A La Cart: Bife Ancho - 5/5 Sides: Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes - 5/5 Polenta - 4/5 Dessert: Quattro Leches - 5/5 This is a must try in Austin. The food is amazing. Empanadas are perfect. Soft, doughey goodness on the inside, crispy on the outside. The Verdura and Cebolla & Queso are phenomenal. The Crudo is insanely delicious. Fish is buttery and the sauce is sweet and tasty. Steaks are always cooked to perfection. Sooo flavorful. Best mashed potatoes I've ever had. The Quattro Leches is out of this world. Must order. Staff is amazing and super friendly! Love this place.
