These are the best places: a little hole-in-the-wall joint in a strip mall, serving authentic, fresh, delicious food at a great price. My Rangoon & pork vermicelli were both excellent. The staff was friendly & personable. Highly recommend. ~~~
I have eaten here several times and it is fantastic. The staff is friendly and a great group of people. The food is excellent. It is flavorful and fresh all the time. I have gotten the Pho and love it. I plan on going back frequently.
I ordered chicken pho with steam veggies. I really liked it. I ordered it to go and asked for an extra bowl to take with me to work. I will definitely be back!
Love it! Have been eating there for 10 years! Everything is delicious.
Nice inviaroment people friendly good food & xelio coconut smoothies
It's my neighborhood hang...best pho in Austin. Extra points for the local art exhibited on their walls.
The Brisket Pho was awesome! I went for lunch and the wait staff was on the job and very quick!
Loved it! Service was excellent! Right amount of food.
Great noodles AND noodle music

Fast, knowledgeable, and delicious! I could eat here everyday.
This place is awesome! One of my favorite places to eat.
Warning for dine in: tips are cash only.
We ordered the pan-fried pork dumplings, shrimp spring rolls, grilled shrimp vermicelli and the grilled chicken and egg roll vermicelli, and Vietnamese iced coffee. My friend had never had any if these before and loved it. I've been here a few times already and got take away. Take away has an option to tip.
Love this place so much!! The food is always amazing, the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly! The food is always so fresh and delicious! I recommend the pork vermicelli with the eggroll and the build your own stir fry!
They have some fairly good pho, though I found myself preferring the dumplings and wontons. The brisket and steak wasn’t the best, but certainly pretty good. They give good portions and are accommodating for tweaks you might want. They provided us with extra jalapeños and hot oil. I’d be curious to try the chicken pho here as well at some point. No complaints, just not the best I’ve had. P.S. They incorporate tip into the bill by adding a 12% service fee, so don’t worry about tipping.
Always great service here, day and evening. Their Chicken Curry Stir Fry with Brown Rice was EXCELLENT!! Nice and spicy 🌶 I recently tried the Kung Pao Chicken and Pork Dumplings, and can say that everything I've tried so far tastes great! They know how to bring out the flavors of each sauce without drowning the plate. 🤌
We loved this place when it was near us - #96 is loaded with fresh large veggies - broccoli, carrots and red pepper - three meats - shrimp, beef and chicken- crispy wide noodles - so delicious, never overcooked and limp! We now drive from northeast Austin to southwest Austin - only on the weekends to keep the trip to 30min - still so wonderful and we haven’t found a better version or any other version - we are foodies and love this dish!
Pho and other great vietnamese dishes here. Could have used a little more broth and fewer noodles, but flavor was spot on. Plenty of meaty bits as well. Girlfriend had the beef noodle (bun) bowl. She enjoyed it. Said the fish sauce was tasty.
Delicious food and always fresh. Some items are really among the best Vietnamese dishes in Austin. East of I-35 there is a dearth of good restaurants so trips to Hai Ky are highly anticipated. I stick with the dumplings, noodles and vermicelli bowls. Great choices abound and the varieties rarely disappoint. The service is friendly and the parking is plenty. The prices are affordable and the portions are large.
Was recommended the Hu Tieu Ap Chao when I asked the server and it has become one of my favorite meals! Portion sizes are large and food comes out quick!
Awesome place for some good Vietnamese food with generous portions! This is definitely one of my favorite spots to get some stir-fry. They have the usual appetizers and entrees like gyoza, sprouts, and stir fry. Their Pho is really good, and you can add on veggies like Broccoli and Carrots that go well with the broth. They offer stir-fry with different flavor profiles to choose from, and you have a choice of Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, or combination for protein. I'm not sure what it's called, but the #96 is one of my favorite dishes here. It contains thick, pan-fried flat noodles that are crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. They're stir fried with an assortment of veggies and meats in a house sauce. They also have a happy hour most days that knocks off a dollar or two from their beer. The service here has always been great. Definitely recommend stopping by!
My food was delicious. Meat and veggies were thinly sliced which I enjoy. Everything was separate for me to add in as I liked.I placed a pickup order and took it to work for lunch. It was nicely wrapped and it arrived nice and warm. It came with hoisen and siracha. I didn't get chopsticks so if you want some make sure to ask. The spring rolls came with peanut sauce and hot oil on the side.
Love the food and service. 4 stars because you need to put a tip line on your credit card receipts! Treat your employees better and allow them to make more tips. Without your employees you have no restaurant.
Yum! This place is delicious. I got delivery and they packaged it well. The beef Buddha's Delight was full of veggies and high quality steak. It easily made 2 meals. I love that it wasn't too sweet. I got it on vermicelli noodles and it was like a regular vermicelli bowl on steroids. It was so amazing. And then the spring rolls! I got the pork spring rolls and they were the most delicious thing ever. They were slightly greasy in a really good way. This made them super tasty and super delicious. You could totally make those a meal. I can't wait to actually go in soon!
We enjoyed a nice little lunch here. Started off with a delicious pot of hot green tea and some tasty pork dumplings. I had the Pho with Brisket- which came with plenty of meat and noodles. The broth wasn't too bad, just a little bland for my taste, so after spicing it up a bit, it was great. My fiancé had the Spicy Beef Soup, which wasn't spicy, but packed full of flavor, so still pretty good. All-in-all, I'd say it was a nice little experience.
I’m going to keep this review short and sweet.
Once I was introduced to Hai Ky, I kept going back over and over again, period! Absolutely delicious Thai cuisine!
