The food was all fresh, colorful, and delicious. My fiancé and I shared the vegetarian platter and one of the lamb dishes, both of which were total winners. We look forward to eating here again soon!

First time eating Ethiopian food. Delicious. I didn't use silverware so a little messy but really good. I'm sure they have silverware if you ask.

We finally went for our first time last night! This is definitely one of our new go to spots. The food and service were both fantastic, and my husband also said his drink from the bar was excellent too.

We were big fans of Ethiopian food back in Chicago, and since our move here to Austin, we've been looking for an equivalent experience here. We definitely found it in Habesha. The food's delicious and generously portioned, the server was really nice, the ambience was great, and the Ethiopian beer selection was pretty wide. This is now our new go-to. Yay!

I'm from California and it's not hard to find Ethiopian restaurant and when I moved to San Antonio Texas its wasn't easy In Fact we don't have anything close to Ethiopian food after searching the closest one is about an 1.5 hours away and I'm glad I found HABESHA !!! This place is absolutely amazing !!! I go almost about every other week

I really enjoyed the food! What was even better was a waitress that told us about the food with pride and explained much of her culture. She should be a school teacher as she taught me tons of her Ethiopia that I would love to see in person.

I came in town on business and someone recommended Habesha to me because they knew how much I love Ethiopian food. This place did not disappoint and was probably the best I've had. The food was flavorful and spices were amazing. The Tej was wonderful and even served in an authentic Birile. The service was super friendly and kind as well. I wish they had a location in Cincinnati!

My wife and I are visiting Austin for a conference. Oklahoma is our home. We decided to try something we can't get in the Norman, OK area. Habesha looks little rough on the outside, but the inside is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Our server was great, he had a great attitude and demeanor. He really made our visit fun. This was our first time to eat Ethiopian cuisine and we are now both fans. I had the meat combo plate and my wife had the vegan combo plate. It was a large portion of food and we both enjoyed our meal. I also indulged in an Ethiopian beer which was also very tasty. Overall we are very happy we chose to branch out and we are happy we chose Habesha for our dinner destination. Boomer Sooner!!!

What a great hidden gem ! Our honest opinion would be that this is the best Ethiopian restaurant in the Austin area ! We ve tried tons of other places and usually go to the famous ones but recently those were not upto the mark and we decided we would try Habesha and see if we like it, and bam! It hit the spot :) curries were amazing and sides were great, ambiance was bright and welcoming and so many spots to park . We tried the vegetarian combo and each dish was perfection! From the spinach, cheese, cabbage to the lentils and a special coconut paste - everything was amazing ! And we ordered the doro wot and the lamb tibs - and we were blown away! Probably the best dishes we've tasted in Ethiopian cuisine . The service was quick and immeccableThis will be our only go to place for Ethiopian from now on!

This place is fabulous! A little questionable from the parking lot (LOL!), but beautiful interior and the food was sooo good! We ordered the sampler plate on recommendation from the very attentive staff since it was our first time here and our first time with Ethiopian cuisine. We will all be back to try more! Additional note: all halal offerings.

Best Ethiopian in Austin! Really good Siga Wat! If you want lentils or something vegetarian too you can order side dishes for a great price. 10/10

Food was amazing and Michael was a fantastic server. I'll agree from outside it doesn't look impressive, but inside is really nice and clean. First time eating Ethiopian food, i went with the meat combo. It was all really good! Definitely be back.

Great food and service. The waiter was helpful explaining options and suggested the 2 of us share the beef and veggie options. Good flavors with a level of heat that isn't overwhelming.

Nice place with good taste, quality and quantity. The spice level was good, it was different type of curry and flavor, however looked and items were like indian curry. The chicken, shrimp and beef all tasted excellent, the lamb could taste better!

Gluten free Injera upon request (best to call in advance)... And very very very friendly service. I've been to Ethiopia a handful of time and this cuisine is incredible -- one the of the tastier places in the USA!

This is a combination of a Veggie platter & a Beef platter. Wish the injeria wasn't so cold. The baklava & spiced iced tea was delicious.
