I happened upon Gourdough's while in Austin, and I'm so glad I did. If you are a donut lover like me, this is the spot to be! A good donut can be hard to come across these days. Gourdough's should be the place all donut lovers come to once a year! I've never had a burger with donuts for the buns, and honestly, this is something all donut lovers should experience. The flavor combo of sweet and savory is unmatched! The Nutty Valentine is a chocolate lovers fantasy! The first bite made me weak! I wish I had eaten everything there vs. taking it to go, but I know next time. They have a nice outside seating area and a huge donut out front for photos. I can't wait to get back to Austin for more! This is a must try.

This place makes the most diabetes stacked donuts I've ever tried and I love it. I got the heavenly mash and it is a chocolate fanatics wet dream. They also surprisingly serve real food too in case you don't want sweets. Have a nice outside seating area next to a parking lot where you can park to come enjoy the goodness. Very simple checkout process utilizing Square.

After several attempts to align my schedule with Gourdough's unconventional hours, I finally managed to experience what can only be described as a donut lover's paradise. Tucked away in a charming airstream, this food truck is not your typical grab-and-go donut shop. With an inviting array of outdoor seating and a selfie-friendly ambiance, Gourdough's offers a delightful setting that enhances the overall experience. The donuts here are not just treats; they're masterpieces. Made fresh to order, the anticipation builds as you wait for your personal donut to be crafted. And let me tell you, the wait pays off. The donuts arrive warm, a testament to their freshness, and are nothing short of decadent and delicious. The flavors are abundant, each bite a testament to the culinary creativity that Gourdough's prides itself on. Yes, the price point is on the higher side, with each donut running about $9. But considering the quality and size – my child and I split the Blackout donut and still had leftovers – it's an indulgence that's worth every penny. If you're seeking a sugar rush of excellence and an exceptional experience, Gourdough's delivers in spades. While the hours may not cater to the early bird seeking a dawn donut fix, if you can make the trip, your taste buds will be rewarded with warmth, flavor, and a memorable experience that goes beyond the norm. Gourdough's is more than a donut shop; it's a culinary event that's worth every cent and every minute spent waiting for that first, perfect bite.

Gourdough’s, I’ve missed you! Funky Monkey is my favorite. Get ready for deliciousness in every bite!! The OBD donut holes are also great. Every donut I’ve had there is so good. This is a must for every person in Austin.

The line was long which is always a good sign, we tried the Mcgordough, fat elvis and the mother clucker. All of them were so good, honorable mention to the mother clucker. Would definitely return!

Amazingly delicious donuts with a variety of toppings to choose from. I got the nutty valentine with brownies bites and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend this place when in Austin.

Ordered the Blackout, but they let me substitute the brownie bits for Nutella. Amazing taste, very filling! Definitely would recommend, and I appreciate their flexibility with substitutions.

Must try!! We're visiting from Ohio and heard that this was a must.. we went around 10:30 pm (they're open until midnight!!) The line was so long.. we waited quite a bit, but it was so worth it! Donuts are pricey, but about the size of your hand! There are so many choices and friendly service!

Best sweet I've had in a while, the strawberry shortcake donut. The burger was great too

Donuts are more like bougie'd up fry bread...one of the Aunties from Oklahoma must be workin' their food truck. 😜😉 The Puddin' was pretty good... Bananas weren't mushy. The Strawberry seemed more frosting-ish than cream cheesy-ish. If you're in to frosting then you'll love it. Strawberries were fresh. They're made while you wait, so you get them warm. Wait isn't too long. The Mr. liked what he got. Pay for parking...$2.50 for 15 minutes, so decent price. Nice little outdoor tables. Nice place to try.

It’s famous for a reason. The donuts are seriously so good! Especially when they’re fresh and warm, it’s just heavenly. There are a bunch of great flavors to try and seasonal options. I love this part of Austin. The whole area is such a great vibe. Definitely worth it folks!

So we came to Austin with a couple who is new to Houston and we tried out this place out and now this will become a staple every time we drive up to Austin. Everyone enjoyed their donuts and the magical part is how the donut is so crispy on the outside but still soft and doughy on the inside. We only tried these but I’ve heard it doesn’t matter which one you get they are all good choices. In order these pics are of the blackout, the yellow cake donut whichI forgot the name and the donut pudding.

Donuts were really good, I had the one with Nutella and strawberries. My friends enjoyed theirs. Nice little setup they had. Donuts would taste amazing with some milk. FYI, they got 4 stars because we paid for parking and we weren't told some parking is free. So look for the free spaces.

Ordered fat Elvis and razzle dazzle. Both were good and donut was delicious. It has a little crunch from frying, who's is nice. Definitely not to be eaten everyday, lol.

Amazing! This place is fantastic. I still talk about getting donuts from here. They offer a variety of donuts and toppings. The part that I loved the most was being able to add CBD to any donut. As Austin can be crowded, stopping and getting a donut, with CBD, helped with my anxiety. I wish we had one in my city. This place will be one of the reasons I visit Austin again!!

Exactly as described - Big. Fat. (Mouth-watering-delicious). Donuts! We stumbled across Gourdough's while walking in the area, and after one look at the menu we knew we had to try some donuts. There are a nice variety of options, with a bit more emphasis on the chocolate flavored ones, and the donuts are made fresh upon ordering. The result is a warm donut topped with a multitude of toppings that will make you want "just one more bite" until the whole thing is finished. They also have a really nice outdoor ambiance with several tables and seating available. Although we were fortunate to stumble upon this place, you should definitely plan to go out of your way to come here, you won't regret it!
