I consider myself an expert on rating pizza. I have had the best many, many times at Pepe's in New Haven, CT., reputed to be the best in the U.S. The pizza at Salvation is excellent- charred crisp crust, just enough toppings to make it stand alone and not be soggy, good flavor in the sausage. They have Happy Hour specials and Wednesday also offers 1/2 bottles of wine. Highly recommend!

Eating awesome food with friendly staff on a great patio, what's not to love?!?! Oh and the music is always perfect for the relaxing vibe. By far, my favorite pizza in Austin, 34th Street is the best!

Salvation pizza you guys earned that name last night. I was looking for a last minute change of venue location for my birthday and found you close by. All I knew about this place was that it had pizza and that was exactly what I wanted. So I called up and the staff quickly put together the back patio for me and twenty last minute guests. They were so accommodating and gave us amazing service, Maria our waitress was amazing. Never have I been so well taken care of, I am far beyond happy with the way everything worked out. Oh also the pizza was so tasty and amazing. I will definitely be coming back and I think you just gained twenty new customers as well. So much love and thanks for making my birthday so awesome sauce!

The pizza was delicious with just the right amount of toppings and the crust was crisp and tasty. The salad was made with fresh greens and veggies with a tasty tangy sundried tomato dressing. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be a return customer.

We traveled to Austin to visit family and we drove around looking for some pizza to enjoy. We stopped and went into one place where we were never greeted and felt very uncomfortable, so we left. Thats when we happened to stumble upon Salvation Pizza! We were greeted immediately by a very nice young lady and our experience there was very enjoyable. We live 2 hrs away and have been back a couple of times since!

Love the ambiance! The white pie with basil and mozzarella was so good it was hard to have conversation I just wanted to keep eating. Caprese salad, mozz sticks, and cheesecake were delicious. Everyone is friendly. They have good happy hr and trivia night at 7pm Tuesdays and also a poker night where you can win $100! Great place and can’t wait to try their other items!

I'm not going to say it's "Better than Home Slice" but it is really good thin crust pizza that definitely deserves to be mentioned in the ranks of Home Slice, Via 313, East Side Pies, Pint House, and other local Austin pizza places.

LOVE the relaxed porch experience and GREAT service! The Greek salad, garlic bread with out of this world sauce, and a large cheese pie...perfect! Even my hard to please husband who is always looking for that New York crust is hooked. PLUS The wine is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is a "must return for more soon". Can't wait to take all of my favorite people to my new favorite pizza joint!!

Came last year with my teenage son and he loved it so we came again. Once again very solid. I think their Greek salad is phenomenal and my son loved the garlic knots. They only have small and large pizza and dining with a teen boy I assumed we needed a large. Not true! Lol. The large was HUGE - way too much for two people - but it was only $4 more than the small so I wasn’t mad they did not warn me. But def be careful how much to order. Otherwise great pizza. Basic sports bar vibes / lots of TVs - not much standout except the great food! Highly recommend

I just moved in next door and this was the closest restaurant to me. I wasn’t really craving pizza but man did this place exceed my expectations! The servers were super friendly and hardworking even though they were busy. I wish I would have remembered their names. I got the 14” and added red onion, shrimp and artichokes. This is my go to now!! I already know this place is going to take all of my money.

Food here is really good. We ordered Greek salads with chicken and garlic knots. Everything was fresh and delicious. The vibe was low key- good place to watch football. It did take longer than expected to get our food. We would definitely be back though.

The pizza here is good, but the customer service was even better. We were just hoping to get a slice of pizza before calling it a night and didn't expect much. I had their special slice of the day...which had pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños, mushrooms, and peppers. The slice was good and helped with the cravings. Our server was this gentleman that was both attentive and was making jokes with us. He definitely lighten up the mood and made our night.

The mixed green salad was a meal. Basic, yet just what I wanted. Great craft beer selection + PBR and Lone Star. Coming back tonight for pizza. Stand by.... ONE BITE AND I AM HOOKED! AMAZING PIZZA! I recommend the #7 and an ice cold Pearl Snap on tap. Also, 2 pool tables. Clean and well kept. Elizabeth has a great personality and talked to me like an old friend. Awesome experience overall.

This is a nice spot to visit to escape the chaos on Rainey Street. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere with some craft beer on tap. The size of the pizza was generous; however, I was not impressed by the flavor. Additionally, the slice was a little more expensive than I anticipated, but the pizza was okay and did the job. I would probably come back to try other items on the menu and to catch a sports game on a Saturday night.

I’ve had Salvation Pizza before for my birthday and didn’t think it was that great as I thought it would be. Nevertheless, I had it this past weekend after leaving the bars, and not sure if it was the drinks or the pizza was just different than what I ordered before, but this time it tasted really good. Crispy, pepperoni tasted good and all around great drunk food.

My wife and I live at Windsor on the Lake just a half a block south of Salvation Pizza and love having it nearby. For Rainey street party goers, it is the hidden gem of affordable, late night grub grabbing. The street dining during the day is a well shaded spot with a nice clean urban feel. The food is prepared predominantly from scratch with fresh ingredients and in the Italian tradition that "simple ingredient combinations result in the best culinary outcomes." I could not agree more... Fresh and simple ingredients yield awesome results. Unless it has been a five star establishment, we have never been served fresh made Ranch Dressing... but Salvation has it, and it is incredible... on salads for sure, but insanely good on their sweet Thai chili chicken wings. Full bar, really solid draft beer selection, skilled cooks, a menu designed with focus and balance, and a really nice vibe. It is typically not too crowded (a double edge sword for the owner), but we hope that changes soon. If you have an experience that falls short of expectations, please communicate it with the owner or staff so that they can take corrective action. If you think parking sucks... well then, my friend, you have never lived or worked in a downtown cosmopolitan area. If you can make it to Rainey street, then you can make it to Salvation Pizza.

The waitress, Jen, was amazing. I told her she would be a great president and just wanted to remind her in the google reviews. We had chicken and bacon pizza. Was great.

Been going to this place for a couple of years now. The food is fresh and with good ingredients. Service is also good. The atmosphere good a little too jumpy to my taste I liked it when the place was a lot more chill.

Good location. Nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and good neighborhood food. Had the calzone last and the meatball sliders this time. Both were very good. Alittle pricey on some items. The sliders with a Dr pepper was $20 but it was good.

Good pizza and beer. New TV set up. Lots of crisp TVs for all the games. Shows fights too. Laid back and not as Rainey as the rest of Rainey
