I had the best brisket I've ever had yesterday and it has ruined all other food for me. That brisket will be the bar that all other meals are judged by, but I'm confident that I'll never have anything as juicy, moist, melt-in-your-mouth, delicious, and succulent as that damned brisket! Damn you, EastSide Tavern, why are you not in Houston?!! I will just have to make the trek to Austin more regularly to enjoy your amazing brisket!

The outdoor roof patio was a great setting for my first time there. I am in town from Michigan and our server was such a nice person! Beer was great and the smoked wings were amazing!

Great place with awesome brisket and good service. Close enough to downtown its a quick ride, lots of parking and helps avoid the stupidly expensive prices downtown.

The pulled rib sandwich and the smothered brisket tots were both very tasty! I'll be going back for more!

Alan and his crew do such a great job with service. The food always comes out perfect. Great fusion of Texas BBQ and classic dishes anyone can love (chicken dishes, sandwiches, and burgers). Come here often.

Food was great but pricey. 5$ to add bacon is quite expensive. Mimosas were lacking flavor although they were strong. So that's good. Food was good as well and got seated pretty quickly despite being told it would be about an hour wait. Everyone was friendly and the whole place was nice. Water glasses smelled like eggs though so that was a bit disgusting. Parking also was full so had to find street parking.

Lively eatery on the east side. Cater to medium size groups. It can get pretty noisy. Overall good American cuisine well prepared. Some dishes arrived not really warm and service could be a little more careful. Decent parking in the back and outdoor patio too.

Impromptu Date Nite Vibes My bf wanted to come out for an intimate neighborhood vibe to wind down for the evening. The bartender was awesome. Food was excellent! I actually haven't been here in a while, and it was everything I remembered.

Sunday brunch -- you guessed it, packed. But we got a parking spot only one street away, and we were able to make a reservation that morning, arriving just before 1 pm. Casual fun vibes. Group and family friendly! The portions are really big for some things such as fries and french toast (which we had had before). For other items, not so much. We got some arugula salad that was mainly a pile of dressed arugula for 19 dollars. Sparse on cheese, a few thin slices of apple, missing the fruit, and exactly 6 pieces of candied pecans (huh?). Flavor was not bad. I'd say not worth it. Pricey even for ATX. I guess you don't go for salad. We also ordered mac n cheese with buffalo cauliflower since they were out of the blackened chicken. Very yummy, but I'd skip the cauliflower because it was drenched in sauce. (I miss the old mac n cheese with shells as pasta!) Additionally got the avo toast, which is boldly served as sliced baguette halves but makes up for it in flavor. Colorful, playful, and hits the senses with acidity and crunch. Things they were out of that day: blackened chicken, salmon, fruit cup. It's the business's main day of the week, so I hope that that's an anomaly. Do recommend getting your mimosa on here! But go elsewhere for coffee. Medium-sized cup but they poured it two-thirds of the way full.

The food and drinks were good, but the service is what ranked this place as 5 stars for me. We came in with a large group without a reservation (shame on us) and the accommodated us no questions asked. Stored all our luggage, brought around extra chairs, and immediately got drinks started for us all with a smile. I’d highly recommend for parties coming in!

Delicious brunch! Unlike so many brunch spots lately, this has the combo of great ambiance, excellent mimosa deal, and legitimately delicious food. Everyone enjoyed what they had, I got the bagel with lox and it was one of the best I’ve had in Austin. Put this at the top of your list for a solid brunch place in Austin!

At first I was a bit hesitant of coming to this place because I was not sure if it’s worth it. It was a first time for me and my friend. My friend asked the bartender for her recommendation. She recommend him the shrimp and grits. I went with it. It was the best I’ve ever had. Would go here again.

I hosted an event at EastSide ATX last night for a women's group I'm apart of (there were approx. 30-35 attendees), and EastSide ATX knocked it out of the park. Not only was the service incredible, but they made it extra special for us by creating a special drink menu and music playlist for our group. The drinks and food were exceptional, and everyone had an amazing time. A special thanks to Caitlin and Caty who played a key role in helping organize the event and to Sienna behind the bar and Melissa and Ellie on the floor who took incredible care of the group.

The food and drinks were amazing!! I got the Brisket Benny and the Mac & cheese and they were delicious!! The only reason I knocked off a star in the atmosphere section is because it was so noisy inside and it was hard to hear my friends.

Sami was fantastic! Delivered perfect service. Drinks were wonderful, appetizers amazing. Only criticism is the Shrimp and Grits, weird texture, tough, dry shrimp. But that item was replaced immediately and our meal was absolutely perfect from then on. Two things I recommend are; changing up that menu item and getting more servers like Sami. Excellent service, will return.
