**Sichuan River: Tasty and Friendly!** - *Food:* The Sichuan stir-fried chicken was super tasty, crispy, and just the right amount of spicy! There are lots of other yummy Sichuan dishes to explore, and it's affordable – only $30 for two dishes! - *Service:* The waitress was really nice. It’s Chines
Service was so nice! Food was tasty, perfectly spicy, and authentic- felt like home. Portions were huge and so so worth it. Salted duck was the best part!
Go for the food. Very authentic and delicious. Try something different than your usual. Ask for recommendations. You won’t be disappointed. Sichuan River is the real thing. Dine in or take out. Twice cooked pork - OMG! Eggplant in garlic sauce - yes! One of the great old Austin eateries!
The food was excellent! Good portions, nice presentation. Everything was cooked perfectly. Moo Shu Pork meat was tender while the cabbage was not overcooked like so many restaurants tend to do. Crispy Duck was golden and crisp with the meat juicy and tender. Great flavor for both!
Super solid spicy Sichuan flavored food. An awesome family owned and operated business that deserves you dollars and your love. Go on in and get some super tasty food today and then go back soon for more!
Really excellent food. The dishes are authentic and deeply flavorful.

I would give the food 25 stars if that was an option! So so good. Their Dan Dan noodles are phenomenal and the spicy fried chicken is incredible. It's now my favorite place.
So delicious! I used to come here years ago, moved away for several years, moved back and came back here for a meal and gosh, I will be back many more times! I do believe it’s changed ownership since I last lived in Austin but still good authentic Chinese food like I remember. It’s so difficult for
I arrived right when they opened because I was in the shopping center and I smelled their food wafting away from the restaurant. I had fried dumplings and orange chicken. The dumplings and nice and crisp and the chicken is sweet and spicy and delicious. Not sure why some of their items are hit and m
