Delicious food and intimate atmosphere. Great for Date Night or a Girls Dinner. I’ve been here three times and each time I’ve been impressed. You can not go wrong with anything on the menu. I haven’t had a chance to sit out on the patio but once the weather gets cooler, I’m definitely taking advantage.

Mmmm… delicious hole in the wall Italian from the least expected joint on the block. Exceptional wine and drink selection and the menu is solid. Tapas and happy hour is the pro tip but also easy to spend a three hour dinner here.

I’m visiting Austin and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to visit this restaurant when I come back. Skyler, the general manager, provided the best service I have ever had. More managers should be as personable and thoughtful as him. The whole staff was a delight, and the food/drinks were just as good and authentic. The food is Northern Italian, and will make you crave Italian food now. Thank you for the amazing experience ❤️

Not sure how this gem hadn't crossed my radar sooner. Exceptional service and excellent food. The wine list was also a standout in both variety and value. The lobster ravioli was faultless - at first I was thrown off by what I thought was a strange pairing of flavors with the orange liqueur but it worked perfectly. Arancini and burrata were good, though some focaccia alongside it would have set the pair off. Tiramisu, also dang good. Looking forward to returning.

Awesome spot! Service was on point, food and drinks were great, and they even had live jazz! Definitely will be back. Ask for Skyler when you visit as he’s amazing! Highly recommend!

This place was incredible! I wasn't sure about it based on the unassuming name, but I was very pleasantly surprised. 😂 The prosciutto caprese appetizer is a must get. I loved the risotto and my wife was raving over the truffle fettuccine. Pricing and portions were fine, atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. Looked like a decent beer and wine selection. We will definitely be back for a date night.

If you guys have not visited this restaurant, I recommend you do. We had date night there, the vibe was great, food was very satisfying and the staff was very nice. What stood out to me was that everyone acknowledged us and made sure we had a good experience. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food which was great and we were still able to dine in even though we got there 30 minutes before closing time. Will be returning! Thank you guys!❤️ xx!

What a gem of a place. The service was timely, helpful and attentive, without being obtrusive. We had the basil pesto pasta, perfectly balanced, moist and just the right portion size. We also had the redfish, which had a lovely hint of citrus. We each had something else on the menu that we wanted to try, which means we will be back again. One of the best tiramisu we have had in a long time.

Great vibes, lovely meal presentation. We got the 4 Course meal and started with 1 desert at the beginning and one at the end. Definitely an experience for the books!-)

This has to be one of the best Italian places in town. I've read a lot of "best restaurants in Austin" list and this doesn't show up in any of them - not quite sure why.
It's located right on S. Lamar with, amazingly, a large free parking garage nearby. It's pretty unassuming and the place itself is somewhat small but the food was delicious, our server was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice and quiet.
We started things off with a cocktail (the Negroni Bianco for me), the foccacia & olive oil, and the Antipasto Misto (cold cuts & cheese board). I had the mushroom risotto which was amazing. And we rounded it all off with the tiramisu and cannoli, both of which were to die for.
I came here with friends but I imagine it will make a good date night place as well. We'll definitely be back!

A pleasant experience overall. If you like wine, this is a good place to find a variety. The menu claims they make their pasta fresh daily. It did have a unique taste which I liked, but not as soft as I hoped. A friend and I ordered and shares appetizers of fried meatballs and fried calamari. Both were good! Main course was ravioli gnocchi stuffed with mushroom which I enjoyed.

This quaint little gem is a nice addition to Austin's culinary experience. We've been to several Italian restaurants in town, and this place has now been added to the top of the list. The manager is well versed in wine pairings and suggested a nice Pinot Noir to go with my Piemontese Risotto. The dish was delicious and very trufle forward, which I liked. However, I wish I had ordered a salad or another side dish to go with my meal. My husband got the Ossobuco, which he loved. He hadn't had it in decades and was delighted to have the opportunity again. Our waitress, Grace, was pleasant and attentive. All in all, this was an elevated dining experience without the overly pretentious tendencies other fine dining establishments tend to have. People were dressed from t-shirts to cocktail dresses. It's quintessential Austin. We'll definitely be back.

Very right Italian place when you will get all from the scratch food, nice service, live music and real espresso. Branches only on Sundays. Mostly open only for dinner. Servers having a great sense of humor!

I’ve been here a couple of times, dinner and brunch. The atmosphere, the food and service are pretty good. The Sunday jazz brunch brings such a delightful day. Their tiramisu is so far one of the tops in Austin.

We had our wedding dinner here for 24 ppl. They did a phenomenal job! The service was amazing. Skyler the manager helped me with a custom menu and we even got to do a cake cutting. My guest are still raving about how awesome the food was! Thank you It’s Cucina for making my day so special! I would give you 10 stars if I could!!!

This restaurant is passionate and knowledgeable about their food. They are specialists on Northern Italian cuisine. We had to eat quickly and they were so kind and accommodating. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited.

Food is excellent and the service blew us out of the water. Can’t wait to go back! Please, whatever you do, get the affogato for dessert.

Nice restaurant, ambience and real cloth napkins. My bf and I tried 3 wines and none were that good. Arranci were good, marinara they came with was questionable.
Agnolotti were bland, sage butter sauce virtually undetectable. This place is fine if you don’t know authentic Italian food but for us that do, it’s doesnt hit the mark.

The food is so good, will definitely recommend it

The owner, Al Fini, is an experienced restauranteur, who has lived in Austin for years. The food is fantastic! You have to try it.
