The Original Pancake House - Austin - Photo album

Have eaten here a few times over the years. It's always busy during the weekends. Non pretentious crowd. Meets expectations and good service. Less pricier than some of the more Instagram-able breakfast/brunch spots.
This is one of those places where 5 stars is not enough. The menu offers lots of wonderful sounding options. The Dutch Baby is extraordinary. It takes a bit longer but well worth the wait. Whatever you choose, order the side of bacon. The bacon is OMG good. Thick and cooked almost to the point of bu

Had a good time at the Original Pancake House. We were seated immediately (better on weekdays) and the server was amazing. The food was hot and fresh. I had the Egg sandwich which was amazing. The pancakes were fresh and sweet.
I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. I absolutely love the Dutch oven and the bacon is cooked to perfection. I don't have much more to say, just eat here already. Oh, get here early, it gets packed quickly!
I came here about a month and a half ago or two, and had the Swedish pancakes and could not be convinced that this place was amazing. HOWEVER, I was brought back for my birthday to try the specialty apple pancake and like OKAAAAYYYY they're AMAZING 👏 😍 They were absolutely beautiful and so very wor
The food was a lot of choices. I had the original crepes that came out as strawberry crepes. The avocado toast was avocado spread. I prefer sliced avocados on toast. The hash browns were really good, You can't really mess those up. Oh, the omelets are huge and delicious lots of eggs. We will go b
First time coming here and it's great! I wish I knew about this place sooner. Customer service was great and the food was delicious. My Swedish pancakes (half portion) and thick bacon was perfect! Pretty mugs for sale for $20 and they offer gift sets that include the coffee they serve. Will come ba
John was SUPER WONDERFUL! And the culture is great. The food presentation was fantastic, the taste is great if I was out late at night and it's the only thing open.
The raving reviews/ratings are all true. Great place for brunch. This place is usually packed, highly recommend getting on the waitlist on yelp at least 30/40 mins ahead. After checking in we got our table within 5 mins, the staff is very friendly. The food is awesome, we got Santa Fe omelette, Dutc
Join waitlist before you reach the store. Long wait line/wait time. This evident for its popularity. Good taste, quick service. These are the items we tried. Hot chocolate, English muffin, vegetable omelette, blueberry pancakes, Hawaiian pancake.
Very happy overall. Food is great and service was top notch. I really liked their Eggs Benedicts. There's almost no wait if you go on a weekday. If you decide to go during the weekend instead, I highly recommend to get on their wait list through Yelp. Otherwise, the wait could be anywhere betwe
Great portion size. Tasty Pancakes. Great selection of items. Service is very friendly and timely. This is a great family place. It is a bit noisy when full, but that is expected in a diner type place.
The best pancakes and breakfast menu in Austin. Thick, fluffy and flavorful. Great value and service. Better than the other pancake places. Will definitely be returning.
The Original Pancake House can be crowded so you have to get there early. This is one of our go to breakfast spots. We love the thick cut bacon and the portion sizes is worth the money. Our service is good and the inside is clean. I recommend Original Pancake House if you’re into breakfast
Excellent brekky choice in North Austin. Had a great breakfast at the Original Pancake House. We were seated quickly, service was prompt, and the food excellent. I had the Dutch Baby, which takes a little longer to make but well worth the wait. Almost like a giant pancake custard tart, pretty da
The service has always been fantastic, which is saying something because I have a knack for coming during peak business on Sundays. The chocolate chip pancakes are what’s up.
