Fabulous new addition to Davenport Village dining options. I have been three times now, and everything I've tried has been wonderful. Recommend the Dumpling Sampler, Vietnamese Shaking Beef, Singapore Vermicelli, soups, and soup dumpling.

Must try - Dim Sum in Austin It’s Tuesday afternoon - They close on Monday - noted Parking was simple. Sat down ordered 4 things and all of them came out pretty quick. They were decent size and portion. The service was nice and friendly. I’d repeat.

Prior to discovering Jade Restaurant, I was saddened by the fact that there is no option for good tasting dim sum that operates their business with dignity and honest price point in Austin. That I would have to drive to Dallas or Houston for Authentic dim sum. I am ecstatic to find Jade Restaurant! I am happy to report that Jade Restaurant has the most Authenic dim sum in Austin that I have tried so far. The price point is reasonable, and business operation is honest. The decor and furnishings of the restaurant are nice, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and the service was great. I am sooooooooo happy that I found this restaurant!

Went to Jade just for Dimsum and got to say one of the best Dimsum places in Austin for quality and price. This will be my go to dimsum place from now on in Austin. This place has a authentic feeling compared to all the other fusion dimsum places. The staff was great and friendly too.

This place is good. It serves nice food that tastes very Chinese, which I love. Not the finest taste which I had with Chinese food though. I never tried other Chinese places in Texas so hard to compare but I tasted plenty others all around the globe. We tried several dishes. All of them came in big (too big) quantities. The place is quiet, which I appreciate a lot. Quality of food: 5* Food taste: 4* Service: 5* Restaurant ambiance: 5*

Probably the best dim sum in Austin right now. Better prices than Lin’s and just as tasty. Also - no wait when we came for Sunday brunch, which is miraculous in itself. Unfortunately no cart service yet. Get those wontons in chili oil!

Delicious and very friendly owners and staff- felt like home with an amazing Chef and the kind of place that you linger with great conversation-Must try. Great date and group night and sharing is recommended so you experience more-large portions. Also sharing helps the pocketbook. Great location in Westlake off of 360. Also saw a lot of people picking up to go. Best dim sum (I forgot to take a picture before we ate it all)

Jade offers a variety of Asian cuisine with influences from China, Vietnam, and Japan. I recently came for their dim sum which is offered only on weekends during brunch. I tried their: - Szechuan Pork Wontons: The main difference between a dumpling and a wonton is a wonton is always filled with meat and/or vegetables. These were soaked in a spicy, slightly sweet sauce that was good. ($9) - 3.5/5 - Chicken Basil Dumplings: This one has an herbal kick to it that I enjoyed! These were a lot more filling as well. ($5) - 4/5 - Shanghai Soup Dumplings: I desired much more of these given they were small and luke warm in temperature. Didn’t have as much broth as I would have wanted. They were still decent though. ($5) - 3.25/5 - Steamed Shrimp Har Gow: Har Gow translates to shrimp dumpling in English. This was my least favorite, I felt it could have had more flavor. ($7) - 3/5 - Vietnamese Shaken Beef: this isn’t dim sum, but rather part of the full menu. It gets it’s name from the vigorous shaking and stirring required to achieve an even and thorough sear and damn they did a really great job here. Full of rich flavor and a fun dish to have. ($21) - 4.25/5 - Honey Walnut Shrimp: Also not a dim sum item. So, they fry the shrimp and toss it in this honey sauce with walnuts and it was pretty good. I was hoping it would be just a bit sweeter, but that’s just personal preference. ($20) - 3.75/5 - Steamed Egg Cream Buns: Can’t be a dim sum brunch if you don’t end your meal with these bad boys. Soft buns, sweet egg custard in the inside - this is always a banger! Some of the best I’ve had in Austin, imo. ($5) - 4.5/5 All in all, I had a good time. The food came out fast and the prices are good as well. I believe they have some good qualities and some great ones, so with that said I rate them a 3.75/5! Would definitely come back to try a few more items.

Overall a really yummy dim sum brunch/lunch experience. Our favorites were definitely the soup dumplings, chicken and basil dumplings, the bbq pork buns, and the egg cream buns. Would skip the chicken pan fried buns and pork turnovers just because the other stuff is so much better! If the service is better next time we go I will definitely increase my rating to a 5 stars! We sat for 10 minutes waiting to order more stuff and get our water refills while the waiters refilled the tables next to/around us but not our table. We even stacked our steamer baskets at one point to try and make it more obvious we had no food but that didn't work. The manager/owner (maybe) stared at our table a few times before walking away with his own drink.

Hello everyone... Classy, genuine, and satisfying. I almost felt overwhelmed, but I'm glad my Boss decided on this Restaurant for Lunch, our order came out promptly and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a lunch meeting or even a date, you'll definitely get some cool points for the gesture... Enjoy!

I order to go from Jade Restaurant about once a week; however, I recently visited the restaurant in person for their Sunday special dim sum lunch, which runs from 10am - 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday. We arrived at 2pm, and the dining room was still busy. As with dim sum in Chinatowns all over the country, the servers bring out the food on carts, which was a nice touch. We ordered off the special dim sum menu, which offers at least 10 types of dumplings and then many other appetizers like fried wontons and spring rolls. You can also order off the regular menu during dim sum hours. Prices were very affordable, and the food is meant to be shared. I am excited to return for more dim sum at Jade Restaurant.

Best authentic dim sum in Austin. We originally thought we’d have to go to Houston for good dim sum, but this place was an excellent surprise. We will be regulars

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Austin. Everything is cooked properly and seasoned nicely. The Sunday dim sum is fun to eat and cooked to order. Even though the real dim sum carts aren’t rolling around the dining room they roll a cart with your order to your table which is a nice touch. I am looking forward to returning often and trying more of the non dim sum items!

Went to try this place after getting the recommendations on instagram from “feedmi_”. Absolutely loved the authentic taste of the food. Dimsums are a must try as well as the sesame balls for dessert(be careful as they are steaming hot). Could not try the wines but they had a really good selection of them. Looking forward to go again to try the rest of the Dimsum types.

This place has some of the freshest & best Chinese food that I've enjoyed in Austin. Definitely a good choice. It's also reasonably priced. Delicious soups! Their peking duck & plumb sauce were very good.
