Rosewood - Austin - Photo album

An exquisite experience in an incredible setting. All set within a beautiful old house from the 1890's. Friendly, warm and attentive service from knowledgeable staff. Dining at the kitchen bar is a must for anyone wanting to see how a well run kitchen operates. Highly recommended and the photos don'
Farm to table restaurant with an incredible menu that changes frequently. Their charming building is a remodeled home and has 2 beautifully decorated bathrooms inside the building. Outdoor seating available and live music on Wednesdays. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes or i
Overall the food was good. The Grouper was delicious. We wanted to try the bone marrow tar tar but they were out 2 hours after service opened so go early. The restaurant is loud as tables are close together and staff kept bumping into our friends. The remodel is beautiful. Menu changes based off wha
Great looking restaurant....ADA wheelchair ramp, plus a lift which was awesome. For a seafood restaurant I was sad how little seafood was on the menu. Had the pork cheek appetizer and it was very yummy. However, my wagyu was a bit chewy since the fat was not rendered completely. The king of king
Overall this place was great! Getting a seat was a bit of a wait. Would recommend making a reservation. The kitchen bar was fantastic. So great to see things in progress. Things go out of stock without warning. So, be prepared with fallback options. Presentation is beautiful. Portions are small.
Ok, so, I have to say that this is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Not only for the amazingly inspired and sublime food but also for the magical atmosphere and the above and beyond service by the ubber cool and hip yet not "I am too cool to be your server" staff. This place
Rosewood serves fantastic farm to table dishes in a beautiful historic landmark home. Add on top flight service — and it's a must try. The menu allows you to choose individual vegetable, fish, and meat dishes or you can choose a chef's selection that includes off menu items. Either way you go, I'm s
Rosewood is a fantastic dining experience. I sat at the chef’s table during the soft opening, and got to see the focus of the kitchen. It came through particularly in the snapper Crudo, the fideo #thenewphô, the suckling pig uniquely prepared and steak tartare. Every dish was Well plated. Chefs sauc
Tasting menu!!!! It changes daily and we had a wonderful time enjoying then anticipating our next dish. The home itself has a very interesting history. We want to try the picnic basket on the lawn and brunch next!
We had a great night at Rosewood! Food: 1. Hamachi Ceviche Tostada: my favorite part of the meal, it was so fresh and the harissa flavor was awesome 2. Grilled Cauliflower: it was really good 3. Wagyu Beef Parisa: it was good but nothing special 4. 44 Farms Short Rib: some pieces were really good,
Wonderful location that seems to breath at brunch rather than suffocate. Food is spotty with odd beignets swimming in a bourbon sauce but then a great fried chicken sandwich and delightful breakfast of eggs. Go for the atmosphere and be alert to the menu fluctuations.
This place is so cute and the food was delicious. We went for Brunch and shared several plates including the empanada, Barbacoa, squash pancakes, and mole tostada. All were unique and flavorful. The portions were sizable for the price, but the flavor was a huge bang for your buck. I loved the attent
The Rosewood has a really great ambience nestled in an old house in the East Austin historic district. Some of the restaurants over here can be crammed or overrated, but I was thoroughly willing to pay the elevated cost for incredibly inventive, fresh food. The chicken guisada had an amazing flavor
Great service delivered in an old Victorian home. Food was very good, prices were on track. The Wanderer cocktail was the best I've had in a long time. Had snapper tostada and lamb entre. They've opened up a large amount of outdoor seating if that's your thing. Parking was easy, they have their own
The bone marrow app, burger and dry aged ribeye... AMAZING! Honestly some of the best items I've tasted. The bone marrow with tartar on top, delicious, delicate, and juicy. The burger, probably the best in Austin, juicy, soft, and super flavourful. The dry aged ribeye and fries, damn... Cut with a f
Absolutely love this space. It's very fitting for tge neighborhood. The food is Southern Texas driven, which is very diverse but also slightly confusing since theres a mix of so many flavors. One minute theres Barbacoa Tacos, then there's Bone Marrow, seafood, a scotch egg and gnocci. It's good and
I had the prix fixe menu and it was amazingly delicious. The dishes were all thoughtfully prepared and a wonderful blend of flavors. I wish I knew about the kitchen counter dining.
