Note: We did take out via DoorDash We ordered the hummus and chicken and it was very good! It even came with a little bit of garlic sauce and pita. This place was delicious! I didn't dine in and therefore couldn't speak to the service or ambiance.
My friend and I went to Curra to grab lunch, but they were closed. We ended up here. The star rating is good, but the written reviews made it seem like a sus place. I thought it was solid. The gyro plate with hummus and salad was tasty. Not sure what all the fuss is about. My friend lived in NYC for
The food is great. My coworker used to live in Israel, and he says it's the most authentic place he's had in the USA. I eat here ~ 2 or 3 times per month. Highly recommended.
First time here. Amy, our server, was fantastic. She was highly knowledgeable about the food and was able to give great recommendations. She was also just as helpful about the cocktails. Chef came out and even sang for us! This is a lively neighborhood restaurant with very reasonable prices. The lam
This place is my fav Mediterranean style food. I’ve been here 10+ times and never had a bad experience like previous people mention. I am amazing at what people are saying in the reviews after yet again another fresh, amazing authentic meal. The watermelon margarita is amazing as well.
Genial awesome food. 👌 very delicious. I really thought the cold cooks were Pinoy 😆. Thanks so much. Very Respectfully, Disabled Navy Veteran and certified chef.
One of the best gyro in town! Great balance of roasted gyro meat, veggies and sauce. Don't forget to order falafels
I am all for Mary’s service! She’s so warm and nice! Missing middle east and these food just brought comfort to me! Definitely coming back! The chicken shishtawouk and the fatoush salad are heaven. So authentic! A MUST try if you’re here in Austin! 🤍
The food looks a little expensive at first, but it is absolutely worth it. The taste is homemade and authentic with rich spices and herbs. The tea is perfect and goes well with the Hummus appetizer. Cannot reccomend enough
I was so excited to try this spot. However, the kofta was dry and a little burnt, and the rice was also bland... The taboulah was good. The four star is for the amazing service from the young waiter there. She was so epic. I am going to give it another try because I came during a time they were pack
The food was delicious, with each item from the hummus to the shawarma holding it's own. I enjoy that they have wraps for the 8-10 price point and plates for the 12-14 as it makes it easy to order based on hunger. They also offer hookah, of which the smell drifted into the restaurant on occasion, he
Tarbouch is one of Austin’s hidden gems. The Gyro wrap is my go-to at lunch. Everything I’ve had has been fresh and uniquely seasoned. Whether I’m dining in or carrying out, the owners and staff are warm and friendly.
Great little place. We really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the staff. Highly recommend going here. Overall amazing experience!
Had lunch on a Tuesday, the food and the service was awesome.
I’ve been here a handful of times now and it just never disappoints. The food is so fresh and flavorful. Plus the staff will make you feel right at home. A must try
