Delicious selection of cookies. Cookies are given at room temperature unless you ask to heat them up. I asked her and she said it takes time to heat up the cookies, as tho she was reluctant and didnt have the time to do it? When I got to check out, she still didnt heat them up so i asked her again. They use something that looks like a waffle press without the grooves to heat up the cookies. I bought 6 cookies and the girl put the entire paper bag in the heat press for like maybe 15 seconds, so that obviously didnt work LOL. Like half of 1 cookie was slightly warm smh. Anyways i went home and heated up the cookies and they were great. I got the Gooey butter, white chocolate chip macadamia, triple fudge, nutella chocolate chip Docking a star for poor service, for it actually impacted the taste of the cookies. But ill be back to try again and update my review.

What a fun experience to build our own ice cream sandwich! We enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie as the top and a "cookie of the month" Mexican hot chocolate for the base cookie. Then we got cookies and cream ice cream for the middle. It was easy to share as it is huge!!!

Unbelievably amazing, surprisingly yummy, and unforgettably memorable. Baked Bear will raise your bar so high you don’t even want to get ice cream anywhere else, once you try it here. Their ice cream scoop is so big i had a hard time finishing it; you must get an ice cream sandwich to experience it all. Very reasonably priced, and open very late. Baked Bear is my all time favorite ice cream shop!

Got the Gooey Butter Cake Cookie on top, the Bear Batter ice cream in the middle, the Cookie Monster cookie on the bottom, and fruity pebbles topping. My favorite part was the Gooey Butter Cake Cookie by a long shot. Soft and delectable! The ice cream was good too with all the brownies chunks mixed in. Adding fruity pebbles on the side changes the flavor of the ice cream quite a bit, makes it taste fruitier. The Cookie Monster cookie looks more unique than it tastes.

After seeing this place pop up in some advertisements. I decided to take the family out for a sweet treat. We were welcomed in as we were trying to decide what to get. We were offered tastes of ice cream and we had to just jump in to get something. My son went simple and got a sugar cone w birthday cake ice cream with sprinkles. I did the cookie sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie, dark chocolate ice creamand a cookies and cream cookie My wife got a brownie bowl with salted caramel fudge ice cream topped with almonds. We all loved them! Amazing and we would definitely come back. Thanks for the sweet treat!!

My wife enjoyed hers but I thought it was so-so. The cookies are typical mass production, large, and mildly undercooked to keep them mushy, but nothing overly special. I thought the ice cream in mine (mint chocolate chip) was also just “ok”, nothing special. I think they would benefit from providing some suggested pairings of cookies and ice cream, maybe a few signature flavors, because maybe I just didn’t select the best pairing. Make sure to get napkins.

Epic! You can mix and match your cookies to make an ice cream sandwich, you can even have them make one with one cookie & one brownie if you’re going for the ultimate cheat day! They will also heat the cookie or brownie for you in their special cookie press that somehow heats the cookie / brownie without melting the ice cream - it will remind you miracles are possible. Definitely have a look at their “Cookie Of the Month” - I had a life changing experience with the mexican hot chocolate cookie for May, blackberry crumble ice cream and a sea salt peanut butter chocolate chip for the bottom. It was heaven! Decadent - but you knew that already! Also - if you’re not trying to go over board, split an ice cream sandwich with someone else, they’re huge and you can ask them to cut it in half!

There needs to be half stars on Google. It was better than a 4, but not quite a 5. Cookie was ok, the ice cream was really good. It was what we needed after a few hours at the LBJ museum and UT Campus.

Wow! What a great place! The cookie sandwich is huge and the price affordable! It was hard to do but I finished mine! I wasn’t expecting and was very pleased with the courtyard as well!!! Children, dogs, and family having a great time in the spacious outdoor area. Grab your kids, dogs and family and check it out. Some children were even playing ball in the courtyard. Park in the parking garage. The parking staff were friendly and helpful. The Baked Bear validated our parking ticket! Pleased all the way around!

Amazing cookie and ice cream shop! If you have the slightest sweet tooth you need to come here. We ordered a bear bowl and were so satisfied. The brownie was warm, the ice cream was so rich. I was beyond pleased with it!! Highly recommend!!

Took a long stroll downtown and ended our walk at the baked bear. We got excellent service, very patient and friendly staff! It was hard for me to make a decision, so the staff helped me to identify what I like and gave me good ice cream pairing suggestions. I can’t remember what ice cream I ended up with, maybe a salted caramel or bear batter, but I got the snickerdoodle cookies and toffee bits. I was in love with my pairing! And it was a wonderful treat at the end of a long hot day. With the turfed courtyard out front we stayed to watch kids play and pet some family dogs. I even got to love on a Guinea pig! Overall a sweet break in our day.

The ice cream is a bit big for the sandwich, gotta eat it away before I can eat it properly like a sandwich. The cookie is better than the brownie, but the cookie is about average. Since there’s a good variety of choices I may give it another try with a different combination.

Deliciousness found here! Ice cream sandwiches where you get to pick your type of cookie and ice cream flavor! One ice cream sandwich is plenty to share for 2 people. I treated 6 kids and spent $50,, which to me is a me a splurge.
